Much to the chagrin of the Arab world, Israel, Israelis, stand strong. " A light unto the nations." Am Yisrael Chai.

I was reading the article and was especially interested in the remarks by the different citizens. This is one of the two trillion reasons I love Israel and the Israeli people. They will not be thwarted. Something happens, they clean it up and keep going forward. It reminded me of something that a friend of mine in Israel wrote me about three years ago. Something had happened, a terrorist event. Exasperated and upset, I wrote my friend and asked, "how do you people live like this?" I always hold onto his message to me. He said: "I'm not going to let anyone tell me how to live my life or prevent me from enjoying my life. If we hide in our apartments, afraid to go out because of a potential terror attack, they've already won." He elaborated on this but that was the gist: don't let the terrorists steal the life that was given to you to enjoy. So I say to the people who were quoted in the article: like my friend, you are my heroes. Thank you for all that you do to protect and sustain the State of Israel. I've been to Israel twice and will be back again as soon as I can financially afford it. I want you to know that there are plenty of Jews in the diaspora who follow the Israeli news multiple times a day and are trying to defend (with words and action) the State and the Israeli people. Have a wonderful weekend and in advance I wish you and everyone an early L'Shana Tova.

I visit every year and it gets better every time, or maybe it's just me and retirement! That beach in the photos looks perfect family fun. On my last visit in June, I enjoyed the beach with Israelis of all ages, jews and Arabs, also young tourists from Turkey and many other countries So to all those posters who relish the opportunity to dig at Israel, you can just keep digging your own graves.

You are easy fodder on the beach. Maybe Greenpeace will roll you back into the water.

People must get on with their lives because if we constantly hide away in fear of being killed then terrorists have won because we will have to accept any demand they make because we are scared to go out.

It means that they may mistake you for a beached whale............

I think I am more likely to be mistaken for a beached shrimp ! However as an ex S African I could easily also morph into a vicious Great White, so Greanpeace better be careful when they go for a paddle off the gas rich Israeli coast.
