The National Insurance should be ashamed of themselves and offer the victim of this crime every assistance possible instaead they make his life harder they are a national embarassment.
2. This is what happens when ID cards are just laminated paper
Zionist forever   (08.27.13)
I am amazed that in 64 year ID cards which you need for just about everything have not progressed beyond an oversized bit of laminated paper with a passport photo. We need new secure cards but not the proposed biometric ones which will be very expensive and be a very tempting target for organized crime and terrorists. Need something with tried and tested technology like chip and pin which they use on credit cards in some countries. Tried and tested technology, secure and no longer expensive. That is a technology we need for credit cards. I had my Visa card stolen it can't have been more than about 4-5 hours before discovering It missing and reporting it. My next bill come through and somebody had spent about 4000 shekel in a matter of hours because Israeli credit cards have no security, nobody even checks the signature once they swiped the card they just return it.
4. Zionist Forever is damn right!
Non Jewish Immigrant ,   Haifa   (08.27.13)
How can a country like Israel which claims to be so technology advanced, still uses laminated ID card??? Everyone is asking your teudat zeut number, but how actually does that assure me that the company or governemantal body checks properly? Adress? It's written on the sefah as well....
5. Why this woman who works for Sudanese
(08.27.13)
is not in jail yet. Everyone knows how she looks. Her pickture was in all newspapers, including an article on her heroic work in Jerusalem Post.
6. Today questioned, but info on card also
Dan ,   K"S   (08.27.13)
I was questioned as to the date of isue of my ID card, but that also is on the card, so a scan of the card (bank, car rental, etc) will have the information. A clearing house of passwords is needed, where a person can request a change of password as often as they want. BTW. If "David" broke his leg at work, would "David" get the isurance?
7. National Insurance scam
citizen   (08.27.13)
This is a very scary scenario and National Insurance should be sued for being snotty, incompetent and inefficient. I hope David teaches them a lesson that will be a precedent to safeguard other victims.
8. Is the foreign national Jewish?
