Excuse me, but exactly what does Israel "owe" the United States? Was it not the United States that withheld badly needed spare parts in 1973? As I recall, those spare parts were only forthcoming once Israel had surrounded the entire Egyptian Third Army and cut their supply lines. They were only forthcoming after Israel had crossed the Suez Canal, and NOTHING stood in the way between the full faith and credit of the IDF and Cairo. Then -- and only then -- did the United States relent and (very reluctantly) sent spare parts. So, what does Israel owe the United States? Please tell me. Israel is not a lap dog of the United States. Israel is a sovereign state, that learned its lesson well following 1973, and is now quite independent. What's the matter? Jealous? You should be. Just look at the "amazing" American "successes" in the Middle East. Do you SERIOUSLY think that the United States can do without Israel? Think again. Just a little. I know it's probably quite difficult for you. But while you are doing it, show a great deal of respect. Without Israeli intelligence, the United States has nothing in the Middle East.
