An amazing new law for the Saudi kingdom. The next stage will be to find impartial judges who will not rule that battered wives and servants [slaves] were provocative. I'm told that women in Saudi can vote in elections if they can produce a Saudi driver's licence.

I suspect that women, minors and servants are not accepted as witnesses. I also recall that in Sharia a man can divorce any of his four wives without her consent. Saudi still has a long way to go.
