1. Thanks to all in uniform in Israel
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (08.31.13)
If I was there I would have brought food and treats for the soldiers, border patrol and others in uniform who are making these sacrifices to protect Israel. Thank you IDF for all that you are doing. Thanks to all in uniform- nurses, doctors, etc who are on duty and prepared to care for the citizenry.
2. to our fellow yisrael'im
Bluegrass Picker ,   Afula   (09.01.13)
please continue to visit the soldiers and shower them with junk foods and lots of sweets. Signed: Israel Association of Dentists
3. Banned reporters
Neal ,   Minneapolis USA   (09.01.13)
Funny, just tonight while watching a report from Damascus by a CBS reporter, I asked myself: Didn't Syria ban foreign reporters? Yes, But somehow, CBS News has managed to have a correspondent doing stand-up reports from Syria for months. First it was good-looking, blonde Clarissa Ward, I think -- her news career now is assured of success -- and now an older reporter, another woman. Perhaps women are easier to hide? In any case, both were solid professionals and I give them great credit for taking the risks -- and for providing fact-filled solid news coverage.
4. Not easy to find
Mama ,   Tel Aviv, IL   (09.01.13)
Drove around Tel Aviv for thirty minutes today trying to find it for our kids, but no luck :( Our baby wanted to take a photo in her IDF hoodie. Regardless, thank you to young men and women who don't doge the draft and serve this country!

Israel often bans the media when they don't want them to see something illegal or disgusting such as what happened in Jenan (3 day ban) or Operations Cant Lead and Pillow of Defense.
