Good point. I maybe sound paranoid buy always traveled with my own gas mask. Not only in Israel but everywhere. Still do.

People I know take it for granted that a Polio booster shot is just a wise precaution. I don't know anyone who'd be scared off. Many of us were in grade school before there even was a shot for Polio. We remember seeing children on TV who had come down with Polio. It's not something to be afraid of if you get immunized. I'd be very upset if the warning had *not* been given.

And I remember when about a dozen people came down with polio in Israel twenty years or so ago. Only 4 of those were not inaculated, the rest had been fully vaccinated.

I'm a dual national and the 'deveploments' in Israel over the past 1-2 years are encouraging me to move to the US.

Oh yes? Hi-tech industry second-only to America, national health scheme for all, and better than anything the UK or US can offer. America doesn't even have a national health scheme: lose your job and lose your insurance. One of the vest armed forces in the world, certainly better than the Brits who've been reducing theirs enourmously over the past couple of years, and a thriving economy with an upward growth, unlike the US and UK (and Europe) which are sinking lower and lower. As for number 6 - I suggest you take the first plane out and don't come back. Who needs people like you?
