Adam ,   London   (09.05.13)
but Obama has just not been able to deal with this whole situation, he has good intentions but is swimming in a pool of sharks that are just too clever for him and those around him. This whole situation can be traced back to his visit to Cairo and the speech he made several years ago.

to the speech he delivered as to why America must act toward Syria!!
5. #1 Obama Chaos
Arturo   (09.05.13)
Obama is responsibile for much of the chaos across North Africa and now Syria. He's the same guy that forced israel to release hardcore murderers from prison. Now that his jihadi "rebels" are losing ground, he's threatening to start a war with Syria.
6. BHO
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (09.05.13)
Be for one time a clever boy and let the UN take care of the problem. And if they can't find a solution (because of Russia and China) - who cares? This is not our business.

9. EU, the unelected undemocratic bureacrats
CJK   (09.05.13)
the eu is a shameful bureaucracy, very much like the un, dreamed up by people who wanted to destroy the nation state and state sovereignty.
10. Obama is learning an important lesson
CJK   (09.05.13)
the un, the eu, the g-20, and all other supra-national organization will do all in their power to stab in the back the united states. it makes no difference who is president, the sole super power will always be hated.
11. Obama says "not my red line"
Malone ,   Hfx   (09.05.13)
...when he clearly stated that it was. When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is...stop digging, yet obama continues to dig himself in deeper and deeper. He's told so many lies he can't remember them all,but the world can remember and is remembering.
12. Hypocrites,every single one of them!
PaulZion ,   Israel   (09.05.13)
If the world cannot come to a consensus to deal with this blatant war crime and atrocity to humanity, they relinquish the right to preach morality or denounce Israel in the conflict with the Palestinians. Hypocrites, every single one of them.
13. Amoral Russian and Chinese Political Systems
Jeffrey   (09.05.13)
Neither of these two political systems have moral imperatives. What matters to them is the perpetuation of the ruling party. It is a fceless bureaucracy which says that the party and its survival is more important than the individual human being. That is essence is what separates democracy from autocracy. In democracies individuals lives matter. In democracies moral decisions are part of the political discourse. Russia and China would never vote for a military endeavor which does not further their political interests.
14. #12 paul - Amen!
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.05.13)

15. Will someone please ask Obama
Devorah   (09.05.13)
to explain how he can support the chemical killing of unborn babies by abortion - 4,000 daily in the U.S. alone - and yet be adamantly opposed to the chemical killing of Syrian children?
16. See, it's really very simple
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.06.13)
When you elect a chattering, imbecilic chipmunk to the office of president of the United States, you can expect nothing but a chattering, imbecilic chipmunk. That is what the American people voted for, and that is exactly what they have gotten. Does anyone have any nuts? It's almost time for chattering, imbecilic chipmunks to hibernate. Wouldn't want them to starve. Well, that's not exactly true. I could really care less about the dietary requirements of chattering, imbecilic chipmunks.
