Everything is driven by economy. If Israel has better arms than Russia and cheaper than US (and comparable), then Turkey would select Israel. It's not just up to Turkey though. May be Israel might be cautious selling advanced hardware to Turkey as long as Erdogan and his party is around.

Would enlighten all of us by listing those reasons. The way I see it this warming up in relations are due to the imminent attack on syria that Erdogan is very eager to start . Erdogan knows that during the military conflict in Syria he needs Israeli support. And obviously Israel always prefer to have friends rather then goes. All military reasons as far as I see. well, another way to look at the situation is this, Turkey has how many Syrian refugee's to care for now? And the other bordering Syrian nations also becoming 'nanny's for them due to this crisis? And the cost to them? And, the fact many of them will retain these poor bastards for years to come? Not to mention, famine, diseases, lost loved one, orphans. "Vengeance is Mine saith the Lord."
