JMK ,   NYC   (09.18.13)
2. All Jews are valuable, some more observant than others.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.18.13)
3. Let them beg me, but I recognized religion is rubbish forevr
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.18.13)
And I will stay away from them, away from the organized religion.
4. #3 You really enjoyed this one Michael, didn't you
Tahl   (09.18.13)
Reading your comments here Michael, it seems you eagerly wait for articles about Judaism in America, just so that you could rejoice in "sticking it" with your comments against the Jewish religion. Why all this hate?
5. #3 if i am not for myself who will be for me?
moshe ,   Tivon, Israel   (09.18.13)
what values will you leave to your children? will your kids grow up to be contributors...not just in their field ? will they become Unitarians, Catholics, or free thinkers without a CONSCIENCE ? I realize that the Jewish religion comes in many forms that are so EASY to reject...but what WILL your kids believe in? moshe
6. Tahl, Really, disliking them makes my mind soar.
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.19.13)
My mind is free to take up anything, to contemplate any idea, to attempt any challenge. I don't hate them, I only want them separated, to not stand in my way to freedom. Why won't they pack up and retreat to their stale dungeons to set themselves free of me also?
7. #6 Please explain to me, Michael
Tahl   (09.19.13)
How exactly do the rabbis mentioned in this article, or their new initiative to attract more Jews to synagogues, "stand in your way to freedom"? Does anyone hold a gun to your head? Are you threatened with ostracism? Clearly this sentence of yours is utter rubbish. Like you Michael, I also live in the galut, and like you, I am also 100% secular, and see myself as a Jew by birth, rather than by faith. And yet I don't hold such fervent hatred inside of me to those of us who do feel close to the Jewish religion. Some of my best friends here are religious Jews. I believe that outside of Israel, we should strive to be as cohesive as possible. Your flagrant posts here are pure sin'at hinam.
8. # 1 Praying for $$ is a business.
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (09.19.13)
And they wonder why Jesus was so popular, his message was free, not for a profit. The shame is the $$.
9. #3 Your obsession with Jews is strange
CheckYourMotives ,   Jerusalem Israel   (09.19.13)
With all your hate/dislike it is very very strange that you obsess so much about all things Jewish and especially Jewish civilization's heart and soul its Jewish Faith You need to ask yourself why you are so obsessed
10. #9, You should see how obsessed I am with space ships.
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.19.13)
Space ships and UFOs beat Judaism by a wide margin at any time. Wasn't there some Jewish prophet that said I would come around to challenge your beliefs?
11. To #8 Christian prayer for $$
Safta13 ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (09.20.13)
Jesus' message may have been free but the prayers in Church aren't... They pass the plate for donations at every gathering! At least, in the North American synagogues, you give only ONCE a year :D
12. Michael #3 everything is a religion, an belief, a narrative
hipocrates ,   earth   (09.21.13)
Its like saying you think for yourself. while that might be true its also not. All our thoughts are based on what others have done and said and felt, and it rotates in our mind and we live the results. Your religion might be intellectualism, might be post modernism, might be anti religion, might be socialism. but you venerate some ideas dont you? So maybe its not orgnaized, but ever been to a Jewish service? Not always organized either, haha.
