1) If the Assad regime was so concerned about the security and safety of the Syrian people, why did it a) make these damnable weapons in the first place, and forward place them around populated centers which were known to be areas where the regime was never popular b) fire on its own unarmed citizens when they started complaining merely about the price of bread, rents... 2) This "warning" sounds like a typical Russian False Flag Operation being set up, just like they used against Chechnya, Afghanistan, (as well as using the Chechens - the US would do well to look deeper into the Boston Marathon bombings and Russia's well placed warnings about those who did it beforehand). If these rebels do use such weapons against Israel, then a spade should be called a spade, and in this case, it is an open act of war by Russia against Israel on behalf of their creepy little client state, Syria. Russia is playing a high stakes poker game over gas pipelines to Europe here, and Israel's recent off shore discoveries could well upset their winter monopoly to Northern Europe.

Why does our hatred of Assad blind us to other very serious realities. The "rebels" are not just one group. Let's not forget that they are fighting amongst each other. The Al Nusra Al Qaeda ones have already fired mortars and artillery into Turkey pretending to be the Syrian army that did it. Do not be blind to their treachery and insanity.

Assad has not gassed anybody according to Assad and his allies. Now turns out. Not only was it the rebels responsible for the gas attack 3 weeks ago but they have also now decided the time has come to use gas against Israel. Certainly I would not put the rebels above making such a move but so suddenly when Obama is talking about air strikes for Assads alleged use of chemical weapons now the rebels have suddenly decided now we shod be gassing Israel as well. Next time we should launch another drone missile just to anger the Russians more.

The first premise also is flawed that by somehow removing nerve gas, mass murder of your own people by conventional means is fine, just fine. There is no possible way to win this war.
