That is exactly what I was going to write. In her own way, she's pretty despicable. It's all about her. While she didn't murder anyone she certainly doesn't feel any empathy for the victims. There was a little film made awhile back, don't recall even the name of it. It featured the adult daughter of the Nazi SS commander in charge of the camp featured in Schindler's List. He was the personification of evil. IF I am recalling correctly, she had deep feelings about the awful and despicable deeds of her father- I know I'll recall his name after I hit "send" here. It showed her meeting with one of the camp's survivors. It was a very interesting film.

I guess no one ever bothered to tell her that one-third of the Jewish population of this planet perished during World War II. No one EVER has to do anything. There are things I would refuse to do, even if it means my death. Would that the German people had felt similarly. I would cheerfully end this German whore's life. Who wouldn't?

Jews lived in Germany for 2,000 years. Except for medieval episodes & 13 years of nazi rule, they learned, shared & prospered. Jews admire Germans for discipline, hard work ethics, arts & sciences. As a Jew living in Israel, I've seen many good German people visit, express remorse and genuine support for my country. Germans today including this woman should not be held responsible for deeds they did not commit (even despite her claim about number of Jews killed). Nearly every single town in Germany has a cornerstone commemorating the names of what they refer to as the 'fallen heroes 1939-1945'. No distinction is ever made between where they served, whether it was in the Wehrmacht (as many older German's perceived as the 'good' people's army), or the SS or the Gestapo. During my many trips to Germany and conversations with hundreds of people, I never encountered a single person who admitted that they knew about the atrocities which were going on. Even worse, many Germans under 40 years old whom I spoke with regarding the Holocaust were quick to equate the Israel-Palestinian conflict with Nazi atrocities.

Whatever he might have been to others to his daughter he was the nicest man in the world. He probably gave her lots of presents that once belonged to Jewish children he had killed. As for the bit about torture non of the top Nazis admitted to committing crimes and he is no different to the others. It's also understandable she wonders how there can be so many survivors if so many were killed. She hears about statistics but there are still plenty who did survive so she thinks if so many were killed like they say then how do they explain so many survived, she doesn't get the point that had the war not ended these survivors would not have survived. To her he was just a loving father and she doesn't want to believe all the stories she hears about him.
