committing group suicide like other cult-sheep! That must count for something. Oh boy: it never ends, does it?
2. Kabbalah
Lou ,   Rishon   (09.17.13)
A lot of idiots. Not the real Kabbalah. He should not be allowed to be buried in Safad.
3. Kabbalah Center is a cult/business
Vidal ,   Stockholm/Sfat   (09.17.13)
The main controversy with the Kabbalah center is not that the Zohar is taught to non-Jews or that women are enfranchised (Kabbalah is readily accessible in non-orthodox as well as academic circles), rather that the Kabbalah Center has developed as a dangerous spiritual business, where spiritual growth is tied to outrageous financial purchases of Kabbalah Center products. This has invoked ire across the Jewish spectrum.
4. This man, RIP, was a crook
Alexander Scheiner ,   Israel   (09.17.13)
if he was a true kabbalist, then I am a jewish Pope. All he did was to convert kabbalah into a merchandising business.
5. Black Magic, Caballah
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (09.17.13)
This guy opened the gates to Christian black magic cabbalists to putrify and taint Jewish Kabbalah. Has anybody wondered why Hollywood is absolutley one hundred percent Satanic? All of the celebs are into the Illuminati crap symbolism and sickness. The Orthodox Rabbis had it right. When you mix Holy water with the blood of Satan worship you get the kabbala center....
6. Old crook is dead, but show must go on!
Ariel ,   Europe   (09.17.13)
7. You can be assured
PaulD ,   Jerusalem   (09.17.13)
that the Kabbalah Centre will disintegrate very rapidly. Distorted Torah teachings, don't survive very long.

Their is now because of him 4 millions people that loves Jews Not bad Orthodox have a big part in anti semitism
9. Kabala is about mystical teachings,
ORA ,   BNE BERAQ   (09.17.13)
which should be done only by genuine G-D fearers. It's about the Jewish soul.Sadly some 100% Jews with fine Neshomes are not aware they have a soul. Anyhow ,as soon the soul leaves the human body, the body is death. Until now ,Science could not create a LIVING cell out of NOT living elements, since they are unable to introduce to it the Divine part. The soul lives for ever. Knowing this, shouldn't we have at least the same care for our soul than for our body? At 120 our body dies. An atheist last words: Here i am lying, all dressed up and nowhere to go. He is wrong. His soul knows where to go. Or to Gan Eden or to be cleaned first, which is not a picknick. G-D has given to Jews the Tora. Keeping the Tora with ALL OUR HEART gets us wellbeing, joy and intense happiness more than all the treasures of the world. Happy New Year to all Jewish Secular and Orthodox Israelis. I love you ALL the same.

Oh yes, Sefad is a good burial place for this guy. Plane loads of nutjobs and fruitcakes will be coming over, good for tourism and business.

I still think that religious institutions should be allowed to incorporate and issue public shares. our Jewish brains in finance have missed on this concept. perhaps in time!
12. His followers should be cautious
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (09.17.13)
Burying him in Zfat will be asking for trouble with the Ultra-Orthodox. I would not be surprised if they dug up his corpse and threw it into a garbage dump. They would need 24 hour guards and cameras for his grave. he should not want to be buried with the greatest Kabbalists in Jewish history. Thye will endlessly petition the Lord to have him removed from their burial place. He should be buried in LA with his Satanist fanclub...
13. Other Rabbis
Jacob ,   Bev Hills   (09.17.13)
First of BD'A Second the same Rabbis who where against him would never talk bad about Rabbi Ashlag, he's the one who wanted The Zohar to be made available to all and he followed what many before him said. It comes down to jealousy and also rabbis seeing people giving money elsewhere meaning less for them. So what did this man do? He got people to think more about life, he got people to be more giving to others, where is the wrong in that? This thing of Rabbis banning other Rabbis goes back 1000's of years. So what if the Kaballah center makes money or charges money for books, lets remember, Moses De Leon who first made the Zohar available charged money too! The jealousy is terrible, thats what it comes down to. May god bless his soul and family!
14. Re 13
Vidal ,   Stockholm/Sfat   (09.17.13)
Jacob, The issue with KC is not that they charge money for books or courses. The issue is that they tie spiritual growth to financial expenditure--claiming that financial sacrifice (often in the form of outrageously priced pages of the Zohar and other KC products) brings the spender to a higher spiritual level. This is where the problem lies.
15. Nothing but a cult, nothing to do with torah true Judaism.
michael Pielet ,   israel   (09.17.13)
Kabballah is a cult and a total fraud. It is designed to entrap people looking to bring religion into their lives into believing Kabballah is a legitimate branch of Judaism. It is not legitimate, It is a total fraud, that exists solely to enrich some people, kabballah leaders, funded by their dupes. It is a good example of the ignorant, assimilated Jews in America removing themselves further from torah true Judaism.

17. Nothing to do with Yiddishkeit..its a cult
Al   (09.17.13)
Yiddishkeit is about Menschlichkeit. It has nothing to do with cultism. All the modern day Chassids are following some warped cultism. They represent no one but themselves. They are not true Jews. A true Jew is a mench to god and to man.
18. London Kabbala Centre
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (09.17.13)
Baruch Dayan HaEmess. I hope the London Kabala Centre is not typical. In an undercover t.v. report teachers in the London Kabala Centre said inter alia that their bottled water just might cure cancer and that the Holocaust came because Jews did not learn Kabala -- although the biggest losses were in Poland, the heartland of Hasidism and Kabala. One hopes that Madonna Esther pulling down her undies on stage is not representative of Kabala Centre modesty.
19. #13 - it's not about them charging money for services
William ,   Israel   (09.17.13)
Yes, they turned Jewish Mysticism into a cult business through fancy marketing and giving it the shiny veneer of an infomercial. But that isn't the point where I have a problem with the Kaballah Center. They teach the WRONG lessons and keep valuable information purposely hidden. They are not educating anyone but rather profiting off of their desperation and ignorance. The letters used in the Kabbalah center's teachings are without the dots and other marking as seen of hebrew text in the Torah. THOSE are where the power lies in the Kabbalah. The other part is how they run the business - by strong-arming followers to give them access to their personal finances, which is what cults do. I've met more than a dozen people impoverished by the Kabbalah Center. A real kabbalist would not use such tactics as G-d would provide all substance needed to share his message and goodness. And finally, the Kabbalah Center focuses on the women of the community and targeting their most vulnerable fears - the fear of not finding a mate. Their programs suck back in women time and again to "better themselves" and draw "their mate as ordained by G-d". No different than any other Beverly Hills self-help motivator, like Tony Robbins. And you've been duped, Jacob of Beverly Hills.

21. One thing that will remain with me from the Kabbalah Center
William ,   Israel   (09.17.13)
is the horrible screeching voice of his wife, Karen, which sounds like nails on a chalkboard when she gives a lecture.
22. Burial in Tzfat?
Cheryl ,   Chicago, IL   (09.17.13)
Do not bury this evil charlatan in such a holy place! It is a shanda to R. Luria and the holy city of Tzfat!
23. They could easily RULE THE WORLD if they MERGED with........
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (09.17.13)
Scientology, Google, Ikea, Microsoft AND Apple, Larry Summers, AAA magicians, other Ponzi Scheme Professionals, Shell, McDonalds,Disney Land, and of course where all the FREE BIRDS go to TWEET, and obviously not to forget THE PLACE where everybody who is anybody gets a FACE and maybe even with the 'real jews' (how many left, where to be found?!).....Oh G-d, maybe this merger has been going on all along, forget about kabibble, kabobble, ONLY G-d can help us now.

Lou ,   Rishon   (09.17.13)
Yes, you're right. We need tourists. He, the Rabbi, tarnished the Jewish religion. Madonna, who is not Jewish, and always wears a cross, somehow or other, the Kabbalah Centre in New York gave her son a Bar-Mitzvah. She's not Jewish and her ex-husband is not Jewish. It seems anything goes for this Rabbi.
25. Good Job, valuable lessons. Why the hate?
Dave ,   Venezuela   (09.18.13)
Lots of people learn about Judaism and Jews thanks to Kaballah center conferences. Many Jews went back to their long time emptied synagogues, thank to too The Kaballah Center (out of fear or shame who knows of the Kabala a fear transmitted for generations) Astrologers, hippies and new age freaks, so let them be. They really make no harm, and throw no stones nor yell Shabbos in Holly Shabbat. Zichronot Le Beracha Rav

27. Kabbalah Critics wrong
Octavio ,   Safed   (09.18.13)
Most Kabbalah Center Critics have never even been to one! When I attended, for over 3 years, we were not asked for any yearly membership fee! Most shuls I have ever been to charge between 700 and 1500 DOLLARS per year to be a member!! but I don't hear them being called Cults!
28. Money and Kabbah Centers
michael murphy ,   St. Louis   (11.14.17)
The 'money' mentioned is chump change...what is 'asked' by your mentor is 10% of your gross income...do the math....now thats where the Bevelerly Hills Berg mansions come from...not $200 incomprehensible and dubious in value Zohar sets....
