Aboslutely 100% true. Spain is an anti-Semetic country.
3. Spain can keep its Jewish sites
Eric R. ,   USA   (12.31.13)
Just like Europe can keep their phony Shoah remembrance ceremonies. They are long past the point where they can fool anybody about their fanatic, insatiable Jew-hatred.
4. I love Spain
Mark ,   London, UK   (12.31.13)
but it's not a wise move to mention being Jewish. Much more sensible, to enjoy the food, drink, party atmosphere and sunshine, and then come home.
5. cordoba vs toledo
suzF ,   Melbourne   (01.01.14)
Perhaps tourism Cordoba can promote a new chapter in promoting what was a thriving Jewish community, unlike Madrid ';s tourist operators (to Toledo) who in keeping with the region's anti-semitism have gone to great lengths to bypass Jewish cultural history to tourists. This has been the standard in Spain.
6. To #s 4 & 5
Eric R. ,   USA   (01.01.14)
Your posts just prove the points made by poster #s 1, 2 and myself. Spain is an incorrigible sewer of hatred, and no Jew should spend one penny of their money on it.
7. Hold it people!!!!!!!
AVouskila ,   South America   (01.01.14)
We are not talking whether Spain is or isn't a Jew hater. For that matter Poland is far more Jew hater than the Iberia country, and yet Jews go back and forth to the place searching for their roots and continuity of life. Now, we are trying to tell the world, especially the new generations of Israelis of Sepharadic origins, about their Great Heritage the Jews of Sepharadic ancestry left behind, and still shining in the European conscieness. BTY Cordova was originally built by Jews, way, way, way back before the Islam comquest. Maimonides is one of a gallery of great Jewish and Muslim thinkers that saw the 'light' in Cordova. Maimonides, though great son of Cordova, it was in Fez, Morocco, that his genius and talent were nurture .

I would not go to Poland either, and my father was born there. 70 years after the Shoah, the land of Auschwitz recently banned kosher meat. I don't care what Spain is "selling" in terms of Jewish history; so long as they hate Jews, nobody should go there. Period.
9. Another example of how jews
Truth   (01.02.14)
flourished under Islam. When the Moore's were expelled the jews left too.Judaism coexisted with Islam for centuries. Then came the zionists.
10. We are victims of the whole world.
Over & over   (01.02.14)
11. but no jews actually live there
nadav ,   tlv   (01.03.14)
how very European! they love dead Jews! I am sure there are thousands of muslims in this city, like there are all over spain, but there are almost no jews in Spain, barely 15,000 spread out in a country of 40 million! capital?! what a joke!
