Ask your authorities what were they planning to do with the infiltrators once they completed their jail sentence. They would be back on the streets, maybe even with residency papers. Israel must find the way to assist every one of those people to return to their home countries or to Egypt. Provide them with a monetary incentive that will be convincing enough. I drove past the old bus station today and noticed signs in African languages above several kiosks/stores. I also noticed that for every Israeli there were 100 Africans in this area. In the 90s there were a lot of Soviet migrants and more Arabs hanging around than there are today. But the Soviet migrants were grateful to be in Israel and adapted to culture quickly, they respected Israel. The problem we had with them was they were highly educated and were taking 'our' jobs. There were also break-ins and petty theft and fights, but there was not an influx of violent sexual assaults and simultaneous robberies, Israeli business owners were not forced to close their stores, youth could catch a bus at night without fear. My children went to playground by themselves and I was not afraid of them catching disease or being raped. My son's Russian friend from playground is still his best friend 18 years later and served this country in the army like my kids had. The problem is not with South Tel Aviv, the problem is that we have thousands of illegal dangerous migrants who will eventually spread from south Tel Aviv and endanger our entire, small country.
