But we also want to attract Families to enjoy Activity Holidays in dedicated Resorts
Clearly there are limitations to new Beach Resorts given the already crowded Med Coastline BUT
The potential for Inland Spa, Actvity and Themed Resorts - in the North Negev are considerable and its a model that even in 'Sunshine Challenged' UK works very well
The Krausnick Resort outside Berlin takes this concept further..Fully encapsulated and amazingly resourced and beautifully designed - it attracts Foreign as well as German Visitors
And in the N Negev...its almost continuous sunshine and with more Desal Water available in 2014 this model really becomes a viable proposition with a huge implication for jobs and careers
But we also need infrastructure to improve connectivity - by Train, Road and especially Air
In this day and age for a growing Regional Capital - sometimes 2 hours away from BG Airport TA - Beersheba needs its own Beersheba International Airport - (funny that Prime Minister BG would much preferred to have lent his name to a Beersheba not a TA International Airport)
It just takes forsesight and determination for the Tourism Ministry to invite proposals and designs for Negev Inland Resorts from all over the world..and they will be amazed at the level of interest
So.....what are we waiting for?
