1. May he rot in Hell
American Sabrah ,   Israel   (09.23.13)
It makes me sick to the stomach when people take advantage of someone's kindness and uses their altruism and trust to hurt them. When you deal with people who have no regard for human life, what do you expect? Poor Tomer did not deserve to die in this matter. May God avenge his blood.
2. body language

Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (09.23.13)
Who teach their children to be gullible. You are responsible for these deaths. You teach your children your pie in the sky humanist philosophies and it has gotten one of your sons killed. You are IDIOTS.

11. The moral of the story
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.23.13)
Don't trust any Arab, anywhere, any time. Do not befriend them. They will not kill you with kindness, but they WILL kill you. Amar will not receive the death penalty, because Israel does not classify Arab terrorism as a capital crime. Hopefully, that will change. But until it does, Amar should be kept in solitary confinement, permanently shackled, with no visitors, no commissary, no reading material .... if we cannot execute him, we can at least make sure he spends the balance of his miserable life wishing that he had been executed.
12. peace loving arabs.
michael Pielet ,   israel   (09.23.13)
This despicable murder is a by product of the irresponsible israeli media and judiciary. The media and judiciary promote the idea that arabs are peace loving people who wish to live in peace and wish the Jews no harm.
13. Don't people in Israel dress up for funerals anymore in resp
Rivkah   (09.23.13)
respect for the deceased? Since when is t-shirts and jeans appropriate fashion for a funeral? Is that how Israelis dress for Temple, too? Maybe they are atheists and are sending Tomer off to hell since they failed in their primary duty as parents/family to teach him the Torah and love of HaShem. Maybe if he had beliefs that the parents should have instilled in him, that would have protected him from the attack since HaShem's angels accompany HaShem's elect as a protection. I can't count the number of times I have escaped death by the mercy and providence and protection of HaShem.

in Israel people sometimes go to funerals in the middle of work -they do not have time to go and change..clothing worn does not affect their feelings

i am an orthodox jew and i would never have negative comments like you . How dare you . Who made you gods advocate ? shame on you . where is your compoassion ? your love ? are you going to say the same thing about all of the holy JEWS that wee killed in the Shoah ?
16. He went to his death because he believed in coexistence.
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.23.13)
Tomer trusted his friend who turned out to be a criminal. This was a terrible mistake and the heart bleeds in sorrow for Tomer's life as it could have been. I am sure Tomer would not relinquish his beliefs in coexistence with Arabs in Israel today. He would have been along the many Israelis -- Jews and Arabs -- who continue to believe coexistence works. Tomer, with your trust you've set the course for us to follow. May you rest in peace. The memory of you will linger in the hearts of peace loving people everywhere.

You have lost your marbles. Totally mad you are. ''with your trust you've set the course for us to follow'' Absolute rot.
18. 14 Rut, Israel: Why don't they wear funeral attire to work
Rivkah   (09.24.13)
so they can look presentable at the funeral for photos? At least they wore black t-shirts, a symbolic color of mourning. Look at the Haredim who are dressed for mourning at all times, at least the men are. King Solomon said the heart of the wise is in the house of mourning. The Orthodox Jews wear black because they are in mourning for the Second Temple that was destroyed in 70 A.D. Thousands of years of generations show their mourning every day, but most people who go to a funeral in the USA or Israel or a lot of places cannot show mourning in their attire for a few hours or one day. Their hearts are in the world. They dress to please the world, even at funerals.

i find your post hateful and somewhat not in touch with reality. I always say that I don't mind religious people as long as they don't interfere with my life...but here you are spewing out your venom about how other people should behave and dress and believe. I have been to many funerals with respect for the family and the dead dressed exactly like the people in the picture and do not need to read your foul mouthed comments. you insult people with your rudeness...do you not think your outbursts are worse than what you perceive to be wrong with the way we go to a funeral
20. PLEASE EVERYONE: disregard Rivkah. She is mentally ill.
(10.23.13)
All of her posts go on wiiiiiild tangents that bear no resemblance to the writing of a sane human. She is no representative of "religious" people. Rivkah: I guess your Jews-for-Jesus group worries about how they look over how they feel at times like this. Better to wear jeans to a funeral than to offend grieving people with comments about their disrespecting their loved ones. Wholly inappropriate. As usual.
