Rebellious Jews are about to learn what it means to lose a Tzadik like Rav Ovadia. For it was hi merit that protected even the most vile, miserable, and rebellious jews amongst us. There are not many Tzadikim left in Israel. The merit of the righteous will no longer be able to hold off Judgment. We will see many painful events that will seem inexplicable. It will be for the lack of righteous men that judgment shall befall the nation of Israel.

Come back to Earth. Bad (and good) things happen all time - irrespective of whether a "Tzadik" is living or not. It just takes a few cult followers like you to attribute unrelated events to one another.
11. Rafi Rafi
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (10.07.13)
I never liked the name Rafi...

If you really think about it, Shas (led by Yosef) did more to perpetuate the poverty and suffering of their followers than anything else. Keep them poor (by not working and living off charity/welfare) and they will remain obedient. Good examples that Rabbi and his sidekick convicted felon, Deri.
13. Get a grip people!!!!!
Rebellious Jew   (10.07.13)
There's going to be no thunderbolts and lightening.
14. Rafi Rafi
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (10.07.13)
The goyim are your overlords Rafi. You cannot survive without them. For the Faithful there is no survival or Providence without the Righteous. We will agree to disagree.. In the end everyone will know that Israel exists only due to the merits of the Righteous and on good deeds. Not by sucking up to the Euro trash or the Amerikakim....
15. A great Rabbi but,
PaulD ,   Jersualem   (10.07.13)
he did confuse the issue of 'Pikuach Nefesh' and the clear and obvious threat of Oslo. Never understood that.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef.
18. Hate to say anything bad of the dead but
Shachar ,   Eilat   (10.07.13)
While I hate to say anything bad of the dead, Ovadia and Shas have done nothing but damage to the mizrahim. They started out with good intentions and a rightful cause but they quickly became demagogs and power hungry cult.

Your writing style suggests you are intelligent. Too bad your content suggests you went off the deep end. Have a good day, anyway.
20. #14 not the time
(10.07.13)
Someone else will be judging Yosef, not you or Rafi. Someone else will compare the balance of Yosef's deeds, good and bad. If Rafi irritates you, ignore him.
21. #13: No for Thirty days od Shloshim.
Dee Bee ,   The Galilee, Israel   (10.07.13)
The the Sephardi factions will be at each others throats. Let the games begin!
22. Rafkush, unfortunately I know your kind too well
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (10.07.13)
I may have gone off the deep end, but your kind have been in the pit of Hell for centuries and you actually like it there. Filtering and Inquiry (sinun v' birur) is what we are all going to go through in this generation. You will not pass the test. Rafi Rafi... enjoy your heretical dismissal of faith while you can.. Shas may have been corrupted, but you people were corrupted centuries ago in the Old Country... you just keep on falling deeper and deeper into Godlessness and absolute Faithlessness... I don't pity your kind anymore... It is for God to do with you as He sees fit...

(10.07.13)
Seems like he retracted the earlier ruling that for peace you are allowd to give up land. Actually the latter ruling is in accordance with Shulchan Aruch 329. That it is absolutely forbidden to give a inch of land where it might place your land at a security risk. the hurricane was a result of US's support of Ariel Sharon's Gaza Disengagement plan. BD"E we lost a giant in Torah.

So, Dror, you plan to blame every bad thing that now befalls Israel on the passing of Rabbi Yosef? That may fly in the Haredi world. But don't expect rational people to follow your correlation-equals-causation illogic.
25. Baruch Dayan Emmet!
oded ,   usa   (10.07.13)
The jewish people lost i one of its greatest zhadikim,a pure andkind soul who protected am israel from the vile and evil forces out there. yehi zechro baruch!

deavman ,   Acco, Israel   (10.07.13)
"How will we remain alone. Who will lead us," said Arieh Deri, another Shas leader, as he sobbed uncontrollably." Not really...he was very much in control of his crying and the question about the next one to lead was just rhetorical as the wannabes are a plenty.Even a crocodile is more sincere than any of those vipers.
27. What happened to sane people today
deavman ,   Acco, Israel   (10.07.13)
Is Ynet filtering out the expressions from the secular readers.Hell, it seems that death possesses the property to transforn an evil-monger, sitting at the edge of lunacy, into a righteous superman. He wished most of you dead, and you are all drooling from hoping to show your "love"to the "pillar of humanity" . Good riddance..Who is next in line ?
28. Give Holy Land for peace, where in the Torah??
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome   (10.07.13)
It would be nice to know where,in the Torah,God say that it is ok to give away Holy Jewish Land for peace...it is written nowhere and Israel is God s Dominion; whoever sells God s Land, gives away God s possessions... Better to listen to " The Rabby" ,than just "a rabby"....
