The unmitigated arrogance of Ovadia Yosef only serves to drive a further wedge between people raised secular who may have a small spark of interest in religion. This man, this so called "rabbi" is a bloated goat whom G-d will profoundly punish. His service is to his cult followers the weak and vulnerable members of society who bleat at his side, kissing his hand only to further bloat his twisted ego. His ignorance of how he appears to the world and how he represents Judaism to the world, who like all other cult figures before him actually is only concerned about the power and the money , which 7 convicted and jailed Shas MKs on charges of serious fraud and corruption go's to prove. This man is a grave sinner and a fraudulent representative anything and everything holy. He is a criminal that wraps himself in religious garb of the most flamboyant nature yet flaunts the very basic laws he claims to represent. I somehow think the world will be a better place when the old goat passes. The one point you left out is that he generated more hatred between Sephardim and Ashkenazim than anyone else! More than once he proclaimed that the Ashkenazi Jews deserved to die in the Holocaust! He failed Israel by allowing MK Eli Yishai, then Minister of the Interior, get away with gross negligence which caused the deaths of 42 Police Cadets, Police Officers, Fire Fighters and a 16 year old volunteer Fireman. Personally, I wish him no harm but if there is a higher power, he will answer for his transgressions! Hopefully, when his day of judgement arrives it will be Shas RIP!

How about the hollocaust victims who he says deserved to die as they are sinners, or how about the victims of Hurricane Katrina who apparently deserved to die according to his royal holliness Yosef. How about gentiles or gay people he slured which encouraged verbal and physical attacks, Bottom line is the man is evil and the world will be a better place with out him .
