1. Unlike civilians, soldiers are legitimate targets
(09.26.13)
That's the rule of war
2. I agree, just look at our soft hand with the Haredim
BM ,   Israel   (09.26.13)
We should put to death the entire population of the hometown of any Muslim or Haredi terrorist.
3. The whole ridiculous circus called "peace talks"
A ,   Belgium   (09.26.13)
should be ended anyway, with an official declaration by the Israeli government of the annexation of so-called "Area C", to start with, and the deportation of all terrorists holding Jordanian passports (as most do) to "palestine" on the East Bank of the Jordan River. And if Bibi doesn't have the guts to do it, than he should stand down and let someone take over (Feiglin) who will.
4. #1 Not when one is conducting peace talks...
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.26.13)
supposedly. Neither is it legitimate to continue to teach children to hate, and to glorify death, especially since it was already agreed many years ago to cease that kind of education.
5. #2 not clever, just crazy!
Steve   (09.26.13)
More and more news sites are closing down their comment sections due to the increase in mindless and ignorant hateful responses. Calling for the extermination of entire villages is the response one would expect from a ten year old or a person with a psychological impairment. Go away and play with your toy soldiers elsewhere..
6. #5 I based my comment on the experience of a number of
BM ,   Israel   (09.26.13)
nations who managed to curbe terrorism with that method including the Spanish Empire, France, Germany, The Soviet Union and Russia afterwards and Sri Lanka.
7. #5 #6 Encouraging terror attacks.
Elsie. ,   Gush Halav.   (09.26.13)
# Steve I agree with your post, #6 who calls for the death of the entire population, I seem to remember someone calling for the death of all Jews and until today everybody screams about this, here you are calling for the death of Arabs, an entire population no less and I don't hear anyone screaming about this (except Steve) .So lets see how many will agree with us.
8. Do not attack
Benny ,   Tel Aviv   (09.26.13)
Klieger you are wrong. If history has shown anything violence always escalates when attempts at peace are being fostered. As painful and tragic as the most recent deaths have been we Israelis most use our brains and not our hearts and show restraint. Its about time we break this cycle.
9. Netanyahu resign!
steven ,   usa   (09.26.13)
Not a peep from the traitorous PM on these murders. But why should there be? He takes his orders from the Obama administration.
10. Two points:
(09.26.13)
torah/talmud teaches hatred of non-jews. #2 Not terrorists freedom fighter against a colonizing invader.
11. Noah is 100% right!
Reuven   (09.26.13)
12. u$a-saudi arabia:the evil game of power,money and weapons
daniel ,   the world   (09.26.13)
13. #7 I never called to exterminate all Arabs
BM ,   Israel   (09.26.13)
In fact, my best friend is a Palestinian Christian, also, I called for harsh repercussion against the Haredi Jews, not just Arab terrorists.
14. Is there something the public can do?
(09.27.13)
No! Because Israel is not a true democracy. The 'government' runs on its own motor and disregards the needs of Israelis.
15. #10 two points:
solomon ,   bklyn   (09.27.13)
And you are wrong on both of them. 1. Torah/Talmud does not teach hatred of non-Jews. Read the Torah/Talmud, then post. 2. The colonizing invaders are the arabs. Ever hear of the Muslim Conquest? Go read some history, then post. 3. Careful, your ignorance is showing.
16. #1 A little knowledge,,,
Barry ,   Tel Aviv   (09.27.13)
You are correct, a soldier is a legitimate target, But a soldier must wear a distinctive uniform, and cannot initiate an act of war from a civilian center or shielded by civilians; doing such makes civilians a legitimate target. That is also part of the rules of war. Seems like the Palestinians are violating the rules (making them war criminals)
17. Let them go free
T.Phillips ,   Oslo, Norway   (09.27.13)
What's the point in reacting? When Israel arrest someone, you keep them in jail for a short while and then release them in order to "hold peace talks" with the terrorists.
18. Arabs just like to murder Jews
Riva ,   Israel   (09.27.13)
I am sure that there is absolutely no way we can ever make peace with these brutal people! We have tried every which way to appease them, and they are never satisfied. As a response, they do more and more terrorism. I think the message is clear!
19. Stop the talks.
A Simple Jew ,   Tel Aviv   (09.27.13)
Stop the talks, and retaliate against the PA. Find that sniper. Kill him.
20. Get back to the Law!
(09.27.13)
21. # 6 BM does that include the 6 million
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (09.27.13)
Jews exterminated in and from some of the nations you posted?? When the hell was 'extermination' a tenet of any civilization since the stone age? You're not all there.
22. No peace, no safety.
Mark ,   Cleveland OH   (09.27.13)
The premise of this article is ridiculous. Two murderers committing crimes do not justify suspecting or punishing millions of other people. There are too many of our people who seem to jump at any opportunity to keep conflicts going. The positive news on the Palestinian and Iranian tracks should be met with cautious optimism, instead of outright hostility. I hope the pessimism does not reflect racism against All Arabs.
23. # 2 BM, Israel Are you nuts?
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (09.27.13)
Muslim terrorists yes, Jews NO! Jews do NOT kill other Jews! Hell, you can barely get the Jews to stop freeing jailed pal murderers and terrorists. Let the Muslims kill one another, they do that so well so often and so thoroughly.
24. My opinion: Noah is wrong, most of the TBers here are wrong
just saying ,   Israel   (09.27.13)
and ynet violated its own rules by allowing content which calls for incitement. or as Nietzsche said: 1. "But thus I counsel you, my friends: Mistrust all in whom the impulse to punish is powerful." and 2. "He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster." and 3. "It is because of their impotence that in them hatred grows to monstrous and uncanny proportions, to the most spiritual and poisonous kind of hatred." in other words Noah your impotence is showing.
25. #21 #23 I don't care who the victims were as much as if the
BM ,   Israel   (09.27.13)
method worked or no. Also, Jews are engaged in terrorism just like the Muslims. Why the Haredim can get away with stoning the Israeli police and IDF personnel in Jerusalem and Beth Shemesh? Why do the Haredim can get away from spying for Iran? And why do Jonathan Polard would have gotten away if it was up to the Jews to decide for spying for Israel?
26. #16 close but not correct
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (09.27.13)
The Arabs promised "no violence" period. None, nada. So any attacks whatsoever, directed at any Israelis for any reason are a direct violation of those conditions that the PA agreed to for their existence. The Arabs have violated that every single day for 20 years now
27. To No.23
Bertram ,   London, UK   (09.28.13)
I agree. No. 2 BM, Israel does seem to be off the wall. But no more than you have been in your posts. As for 'Jews do NOT kill other Jews!', what utter nonsense. Jews have been killed by Jews as victims of crime in Israel and elsewhere. Moreover, during World War I Jews fought on both sides, and, of course, in biblical times, Jews certainly killed one another.
28. People's Army
Faiga ,   Montreal   (09.29.13)
The IDF is a people's army. The majority of Israelis are serving, in the reserves or civil defense. They are NOT a legitimate targets. If you were to apply the rules of war , than all Arabs should be treated as enemies.
29. And by the same (dubious) logic ....
Shachar ,   Eilat   (09.29.13)
every time settlers attack Palestinians Israel should be boycotted and punished by the world for failing to control it's population...
30. #29. Completely illogical, if understandable...
Faiga ,   Montreal   (09.30.13)
