Morsi could not control the terrorist activity in the Sinai, and there is much evidence that the Moslem Brotherhood promoted terrorist activity. Do keep in mind that Egypt's sensible leaders telegraphed their intent months before the military took control -- Morsi didn't believe them, and paid the price. Moreover, there is a peace treaty in effect between Israel and Egypt. Egypt was protecting its interest in retaining the Sinai. If Egypt's military had not seized control, Israel would have taken back the Sinai. I realize that you are not particularly intelligent or aware, but the 1979 treaty between Israel and Egypt states quite clearly that unilateral abrogation of the treaty by Egypt will result in forfeiture of the Sinai. Morsi was taking Egypt well down the road to unilateral abrogation. You really ought to make an effort to acquire a genuine education about the Middle East rather than spew EU misconceptions and misrepresentations.
