Perhaps if those British Muslims excoriated those 60 + Shuras of the Koran which denigrate and some of which encourage brutality and even the killing of non Muslims and also removed those which actively encourage the suppression of equality for women, then perhaps the % may reflect a more tolerant attitude. However if that were to be done, which it will not, then of course they would no longer be Muslims but members of the human race that believes in tolerance and understanding.

If we look arouind the world Islamic societies seem to be weak on human rights for non-Muslims. Violence and agression seem widespead. Govts seem corrupt and murderous. Infidels risk their lives in Muslim lands. Is it any surprise that most Brits have a negative image of Muslims? Islamophobia is irrational, but this response is completely rational!

The survey did not mention Haredim, and the vast majority of Brits have almost no contact with Haredim. Of afilliated British Jews about 80% are modern Orthodox, three prcent Conservative and 17% Reform and Liberal.. The public image of Jews owes a lot to Lord Sacks and Lord Jakobovits, very little to Haredim.

And the remaining 10% will also stop trusting Jews when they reach their sixth birthday.

We also started with a majority of secular or conservative Jews in Israel,France Austria and Iran, now all of those nations are flooded with Haredim.
