So please don't boycott them! :) as far as G. Chanel - yamach shema (May her name be blotted out!), History is very clear about who she was: an anti-Semitic and homophobic harlot. But what matters is that it is a Jewish company now with no ties to the Nazi or homophobic ideology of its founder.

Reminds me of a lecture I attended on the artist Georgia O'Keefe where the biographer remarked that while she may be considered a great artist, she definitely was not a good person. Chanel may have been a great designer, yet I have trouble condemning her character considering the times. Survival instincts are powerful. So only now she gets the memory she deserved.
