And as far as peace with palestinians, of course they will not make the concessions necessary for true peace. i still think that israel should itself hold soverignty over key territorial point. If you had read the article, it would be clear to you that Netanyahu made no opposition to the diplomatic efforts with Iran. On the other hand, he is reminding the world that Rouhani is a wolf in sheep clothing. Since Ayatollah Khameini is the ultimate power who determines Iranian policy, and his stance remains unchanged, Rouhani's apparent "moderation" is meaningless. It has failed to get the sanctions removed. It has failed to become master of its own nuclear cycle, piggybacking off the NPT for illicit purposes but always overcome by events, always having its nefarious goals frustrated. Israel never signed the NPT but has had nuclear weapons for decades and has about 80 nuclear devices. Iran can only bark, while getting its proxies to bite on its behalf.

I watched PM Netanyahu's speech at the UN.It did not surprise me and did not bring any new perspectives to any informed listener. But it (re)confirmed one important thing: it is poisonous hatred and passion that ooze out of every word he utters and has uttered for the last 20 years I have known him as politician. At this moment Israel needs a faresighted,wise statesman that exemplify the needs and peaceful yearning of the jewish people living in Israel. Israel is stronger when it takes the high ground.
