Palestinians will always be in a position to blame Hamas for any attacks on Israel. Also, Hamas could well take over the West Bank because Palestinians simply want a change in government.. There is no room for Israel to be naive just because the US and EU are pressing for an agreement at any cost. It's Israel that bears the consequences of a foolish agreement.

Hamas are not going to become moderate, they are a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood they have an ideal and thats liberate all Palestine not just 2 states. They have said in the past create a palestinians state they will agree to a 10 year hudna (ceasefire ) but not peace or the fight for all palestine.
