"State media uses the term "terrorists" to refer to opposition fighters seeking to oust the government of President Bashar Assad." and for good reason ... but the "news agencies" still don't get it even when bin Laden's notorious successor himself is calling for unity among the "rebels". The media all seem to be embedded with their buddies the "rebels" there, and even they have an awfully hard time finding any "rebels" that are remotely "moderate". But the U.S. almost went to war to support these "rebels", how blind is that?
