31. And we will be left with a bloody reality.
Brett ,   Florida   (10.15.13)
Well, what do you think we have now? Right this moment? Every muslim in the world is duty bound to kill Jews. Is that not bloody enough for you? Giving away land for peace has never worked and never will.
32. Just WHAT is wrong with you people???
Gideon Reader   (10.15.13)
Just because a supposed negotiating partner refuses to recognize the legitimacy of your very existance and seeks every free instant to rail against you and propagate hatred against you, with blatant calls for your death or worse, you continue to refuse to give in to their demands. What is wrong with you? Go ahead. How bad can the "loyal lefts" ideas be. Everything will work out if you would simply give up Judea-Samaria. Peace will break. Another "Spring". Just like Libya, Tunisa, Egype, Yemman, and the other egalitarian, demofratic peacefull emerging peaceful Arab nations. How bad can it be? The mid East will be just like the beneluxe and Alpine Euroweenies. I ask you,...has the left ever been wrong? Anyone? Buehler?
33. Peace Negotiations
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (10.15.13)
There cannot be meaningful peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, until the Muslim World renounces the Islamic doctrine of "death to infidels". How can two parties reach a peace agreement, when the religion of one of the parties calls for killing the other? Western leaders lack the courage and the principles to confront the issue. Obama fantasizes that "Islam is the religion of love", and ignores the problem. But, the fact is that Muslims take the doctrine very seriously. The Sunnis and the Shia each consider the other to be infidels, and they have been killing each other for centuries, for that reason. The doctrine is the cause of the current killing in Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Lebanon and Syria, to name just a few of the affected countries. There is nothing that Netanyahu can do to change the doctrine. Obama's fantasies won't change it. Only the Muslim World can change it. Until then, Israel must regard the doctrine as a very serious threat to its existence.
34. There likely will be a settlement in which
On the Balcony ,   Kyiv   (10.15.13)
Israel recognizes the State of Palestine, gives up its current settlement policy and abandons any claims of sovereignty over existing settlements more than a few kliks from the the "Green line." The bulk of Palestinian refugees will be allowed to return to Palestinian (not Israeli) territory. The military occupation of some Palestinian territory will likely continue. That's my guess and that's all it is. We have to wait and see. .
35. Netanyahu is living on Mars...
Walid ,   Spain   (10.17.13)
With all what is going on in his neighborhood, Netanyahu seems to have deaf ears and blind eyes and thinks he is on Mars. It is time to face reality and the longer Israel stonewalls the two state solution, the faster IsraelĀ“s existence will be threatened. Soon Israel will be surrounded by tens of thousands of jihadists eager to destroy the Jewish state. It is time to act and make peace not only with the Palestinians, but with all the Arabs.
36. #13 Tom
Stan ,   Israel   (10.18.13)
Ethnic cleansing? You in TA know all about it. I will remind you, that for decades It was said in Israel, that Jews fleeing the Nazis were refused entry into many countries (including USA) Switzerland is also accused of this "crime against humanity" but Switzerland did accept 56,000 Jews on condition that they did not work (take jobs away from Swiss people) Now that "the shoe is on the other foot" and political and economic refugees are streaming out of Africa, we now see that what we called "anti-Semitism" was simply the desire of a nation to protect the weaker sections of it's people who are always the first to suffer socially and economically
37. # 25 Arnold you suprise me!
Stan ,   Israel   (10.18.13)
A Canadian who is not Right wing pro Israel at all costs? Despite this, I must disagree with you on your proposed solution. Jewish Jerusalem, including the heavily populated Jewish areas of East Jerusalem like Gilo and Pisgat Zeev, will remain the capitol of Israel. The walled city, including the areas of religious friction will be governed by an international body appointed by and responsible to the security council of the UN. The Wakf (Muslim religious council) will continue to control the Temple mount as it has done since 1967. The Western Wall and its immediate surroundings will continue to be controlled by Israel. The rest of Arab Jerusalem with a population of more than 250,000 will become the capital of Palestine. As for Hamas, we have an Israeli equivalent., the Right wing extremists. Hamas wants one state between Jordan and the sea, so do our Right wing extremists, who also want that country cleared of Arabs. Hamas of course wants it cleared of Jews Neither of them can achieve their dream, so we are left with the Two State Solution
38. # 31 Brett Wake up to reality !!!!!!!!!!
Stan ,   Israel   (10.18.13)
I quote you "EVERY MUSLIM IN THE WORLD IS DUTY BOUND TO KILL JEWS" How do you expect us to take you seriously????? There are 1.6 Billion Muslims in the world. Let us say that two thirds are children or old. That leaves about six hundred million who are not doing their duty. If they were doing their duty(God forbid) then Jews in USA, Britain and France would be murdered daily.
39. Follow the American Prescedent
Terry Feld ,   houston, tx   (10.27.13)
1.WAR..even if you need to make a "Gulf of Tonkin" type of incident 2.Wage the war until" Unconditional Surrender" is Begged for 3.Impose "War Trials" with severe punishments 4.Draw the appropriate (beneficial) lines as borders 5.Impose a military rule in their territory, with "Showcase Democracy" for 200 years (Like the Britts did in India All the above is necessary to end the problem!
