10. Iran is following the North Korean playbook
and pretty much 'playing' the Americans. The sad fact is that the yanks are allowing themselves to be 'played'.

11. # 3 - Iran is not desperate and not going bankrupt
It has been totally consistant and not moved an inch from it´s position on it´s nuclear program since it began :
1. Nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
2. No nuclear bomb.
I don´t see desperation here.
Iran is a huge oil and gas powerhouse and will not go bankrupt anytime soon. Even with international sanctions it has managed to sell it´s resources bypassing the sanctions in different ways, as reported in western media.
There is an economical crisis however (as in Israel and some European countries) and the Iranian people want an end to international isolation which is afecting their economy, which is why they elected Rouhani.
As we know from history, agressivness, sanctions, and economical hardships only push people farther into extremism. Fairness and respect bring people closer together, and I´m happy we have guys who understand that like Obama and Carey in charge.
