1. Mr. Nabil, your country should be punished
Ehud ,   Tampa   (10.16.13)
heavily punished, isolated, boycotted and expelled from every organization until it restores it´s democratically elected government and removes the pathetic sun glasses military playboy dictator that has usurped power illegally.
2. Well, mr. Fahmy, perhaps a country that...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (10.16.13)
...stands for freedom and democracy doesn't want a close relationship with a blood soaked, murderous regime like yours. Ever thought of that??? The problem is the rulers in Cairo, not the rulers in Washington.
3. #1 and 2
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (10.16.13)
Egyptians made the same mistake that Iranian made at the time of the revolution. They thought a mullah government could fix things but they quickly realized that and they got it fixed with the help of military. Back then, Iranian KGB trained agents killed over one thousand army heads of Iran and that is how they got the hold of the country. Majority of Egyptinas tured against Morsi mullah regime. MB is minority.
4. @3 - See al-Sisi and the generals for what they really are!
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (10.16.13)
You may not like the Muslim Brotherhood, but how you can support this military regime is beyond me. Massacres, torture, shutting down all independent media, orchestrating fraudulent elections, preventing freedom of speech etc etc. North Korea couldn't have done it any better. For someone who has (I suppose) fled political oppression, I would expect you too call a dictatorship by its real name.
5. The masks are off
Tom W ,   USA   (10.16.13)
All the virulent, foaming-at-the mouth Israel haters like #1-2 now congregate around the MB, their ideological brethren. The loss of the radical islamofascist MB is a serious blow to the Obama worshipers and other assorted leftist acolyte. The Egyptian military crackdown on the MB thwarted the leftist-Islamist alliance master plans. Good for Egypt, bad for the Obama goons and their eurotrash friends.
6. Morsi was Obamas buddy...he was a thug !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (10.16.13)
7. #2,4 GUNNAR
Robert Levine ,   LasTerrenas,DR.   (10.16.13)
You say USA stands for freedom and democracy that is why it has a close, warm harmonious relationship with Israel. You speak about massacres, torture and shutting down all independent media, prevent freedom of speech that is exactly why USA does not have relations with Hamas and Hezbollah.I think this upsets you.
8. Obama's latest strategic misstep
C   (10.16.13)
destroying the relationship with egypt, one that has been nurtured by many previous presidents, is just another in obama's personal agendas. one cannot believe that obama does not know what he is doing, especially since he was warned by many others. hence, one must assume that obama is going rogue and destroying the usa/egypt relations for his own personal reasons such as his support for the muslim brotherhood..
9. TO #4
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (10.17.13)
People who are getting killed are mostly with Hamas. What matters is what majority wants. 2nd revolution clearly showed what Egyptian wanted. You are seem not to know much about how things work in ME. Egyptian military has been under attack since the day they took over by MB. You can't have minority take a hold of the country no matter how many get killed. Most Egyptians are with Al Sisi. MB needs to respect the majority.
