If Turkey should ever run out of patience with Israel´s antics.. Israel would find itself in a terrible geopolitical position with respect to Iran. Turkey´s membership in NATO obliges it to cooperate with the U.S (and hence with Israel) on a wide variety of strategic, operational and intelligence issues. It´s geographical position is crucial. I will not expand the issue because it means nothing to the messianics who post here anyway. As we learned from the Marmara crisis, Turkey was a step away from cutting diplomatic ties for good, until our responsible big brother (USA) intervened once again like so many times before to save his little punk brother from his own recklessness. There´s no guaranteeing however that the Turks will restrain themselves next time on request from America when we step on their foot again.
