The harsh reality that both the US and Israeli military leaders know is that any attack on Iran will cause massive harm to the US and/or Israel. This is why all the military leaders keep saying that attacking Iran is a bad idea. Iran has been parinoid about a US attack since 1979 and has spent every dime they could spare and huge amounts of engineering talent building an extremely deadly, multilayer defense network. Any attack on Iran will get lots of attackers killed. The estimates are as much as 65% of the attacking aircraft would be lost. Iran has the Chinese FD2000 re-engineering of the Russian S-300 (making it equivalent toe the S-400/S-500). Most attacking aircraft and cruise missiles will NOT survive. The reality is there is no military option.

It is ridiculous to say there is no military option. Of course, Israel has an extremely viable military option. Is it risk free? Of course not. But it is infinitely better than letting the genocidal Mad Mullahs build nukes.

Are you kidding? Obama would not bomb Assad even after he used chemical weapons on hundreds of civilians. The Iranians saw this and that's why they're back at the negotiating table. (New Iranian president has nothing to do with it. The supreme leader runs the country.) The problem for Israel is that the military option for it is unsatisfying. Everything can be rebuilt within a few years so it's really just kicking the can down the road. The only silver lining is that the Iranians, as a people, are generally not as virulently hostile to Israel as Arabs. Some of the ones in the West that I have met have been actually quite friendly. Strategically, Iran does not have much to have conflict with Israel over. The mullahs have chosen hostility with Israel since it raises their profile in the world of Islam. Hopefully, the Iranian people can see past that.

The negotiations are ongoing and obviously both Iran and its counterparts have started on the track to solve their problems. The odd "men" out are Israel, and its new best "ally" the Saudi despots. The Saudis will come with their tails between their legs and try to mend fences with Iran. They always do. you can be sure that israel has a plan. indeed, Israel revises her plans very often according to the situation on the ground. just because israel does not trumpether military plans to the universe of cats, it does not mean that she does not have a plan.
