1. Now they can be wedding-simhe-makers at Arab weddings, yeah!

Why the soldiers who arrived on the scene didn't shoot the armed soldier who shot? An Arab with a gun, even not loaded, would have been shot dead on the spot.

4. @2, because they weren a danger to anyone.
leo ,   usa   (10.20.13)
They had no intent to kill, they were just drunk and disorderly.
5. @4 still if it was an drunk Arab
(10.20.13)
Disoriented with no real intentions to kill, they would have shot him. How can you be sure this guy didn't have any intentions to kill? What do you rely on? Because he's a soldier? Because he's Jewish? On what? You'd agree that these are petty feelings to rely on....
6. #5, Are you kidding me
Scott ,   Florida   (10.20.13)
You have got to be joking. Obviously a soldier would be more prone to shoot an unknown Arab assailant as opposed to a fellow IDF soldier from the same brigade. What's your point?? This is true for every military ever in the history of the world. A soldier is less likely to harm his comrade than a stranger. What on earth are you trying to prove.
7. Bye bye red beret
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (10.20.13)
They've embarrassed the paratroopers. If they took those red berets seriously they wouldn't have disrespected the high regard that the paratroopers are held in by their actions. Perhaps they are young, perhaps they were drunk and maybe they are even silly but they didn't act with respect to the unit. Bye bye red beret.
8. @5, I do not know whether what you say
leo ,   usa   (10.20.13)
is absolute truth or mere speculation, but even if former - reputation is a b..ch, isn't it.
