by lawyers. I think the biggest problem today in Politics is that most politicians are also lawyers. The Americans are masters of the art of defining any words into what they want the words to mean. This allows them to dictate policy in which ever direction they like. The only problem is that reality always seems to get in the way. No matter how they spin this, the U.S. will do a bad deal on behalf of the world. A deal which will boomerang and potentially cause untold chaos. History repeats itself. This is pre-WWII all over again.
5. the creative writer
CJK   (10.25.13)
ben rhodes majored in creative writing. today, aged thirty three, he is the assistant national security director. how he got from creative writing to being a member of the us national security team remains a mystery. in any case, rhodes wants "flexibility" from the us congress claiming falsely that there has been progress in the negotiations. rhodes obviously still exercises his old profession of creative writing. and obama still exercises the privilege of appointing unqualified people as long as they are part of the obama team.
6. Paradoxically the more flexible Iran is the closer to bomb.
(10.25.13)
Paradoxically the more flexible the Iranian regime appears to be, the closer the regime is summarily to having a nuclear bomb or at last breakout capability. Completely dismantling their nuclear weapons capability and possession does not figure in any Iranian thinking.
