10 Talkbacks for this article
1. compensating and evacuating illegal homes of beduins
jenifer ,   jerusalem, israel   (10.25.13)
it's amazing how sympathetic the IDF is towards goyim~much more considerate of them than they are of Jews~ sad but true and by the way what about all the building in Beit Jalla? nothing is said or done but if a Jew wee to do something illegal, not only will he not be compensated, nor GIVEN land and a place to live for free, plus monetary compensation, the JEW will be FINED heavilily!
2. All these could wait until the Iranian leaders....
freeWorld   (10.25.13)
will be neutralized. The world is suffering from their innovative interventions. Let us unite to end their freedom to oppress their own people, and to interfere with the lives of other nations.
3. Adalah has no right to preach
italian ,   italy   (10.25.13)
Since it is an anti israeli, palestinian organization, committed to the dejudaization of the state, its members can only move to Gaza or Ramallah, if they don't like the jewish state.
4. Special police unit evacuates Bedouins; It's not easy .
Elsie. ,   Gush Halav   (10.25.13)
Quite frankly we should all be ashamed of ourselves, because in our silence we are also complicite. Add to this we need a special police force to kick them out, at what point do we say, enough is enough. I know I am opening myself up to a lot of talkbackers so while I am at it what on earth have they done to the state of Israel to deserve this???
5. #4 Elsie, you are shameful
italian ,   italy   (10.25.13)
You alway speak about the need of being considerated israeli, even if you are arab, but then you costantly blame the state. If you hate israel so much, move to ramallah ir gaza. You and those like you made all israeli arabs a fifth column, even if a lots of them support the state. Shame on you.
6. reform the way buildingpermits are granted
rm ,   NL Amsterdam   (10.25.13)
you political is nearly impossible for non-jews to get buildingpermits....that leaves people with little choice but to break the law...It is not what a civilized country should behave like
7. Evacuate? IsraeliSpeak For Steal
World Citizen ,   the world   (10.25.13)
Because that is what is going on in all of Palestine. And that is why the civilised world will isolate and boycott your rogue Jewish colony.
8. Bedouin *are* a security and demographic problem
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (10.25.13)
Contrary to claims otherwise, the Bedouin are not "indigenous" to the Negev, and have no right to claim public lands as their own. While some Bedouin have performed honorable service as trackers with the IDF, other Bedouin have been involved in cross-border smuggling of drugs, weapons, women, and infiltrators. The thousands of Africans who've made it into Israel could not have done so without the assistance of Bedouin from the Sinai side. The demographic threat is at the heart of the struggle over land because, with polygamy still widely practiced and large families common, the Bedouin population is today at least 10 times what it was in 1948. That leads to pressure for land, while cultural resistance to rule from outside the tribe leads to indifference to the "law of the land". I do find it curious that Israel is only devoting a few hundred officers to the relocation project. Then again, if Israel thinks only "dozens" of illegal structures are involved, it's no wonder so few have been assigned.
9. Israel has much compassion for the
Israeli 2   (10.26.13)
Bedouins and Druze. Every and any Israeli government whether left or right are very careful with their law abiding, and appreciating non Jewish citizens. That's a fact. This includes 98% of all Jewish Israelis. If they must be evacuated, it is for a good cause.
10. How does it compare to Jews being thrown out?
chava ,   yerushalayim   (11.04.13)
Why are there no talkbacks comparing this to how Jews are thrown out of their houses, often in the middle of the night. And I'm not even talking about Gush Katif --- this is all since then.
