In Olmerts Kadima Livni was centre left the she was toppled by Mofaz because she really had failed her party as a leader so she quit Kadima. Last election she formed a left wing party aiming and she is closer to Shelly in her ideology than the centre left of Kadima. Its also well known she is interested in peace at ANY price. After Olmert left rather than just inheriting his crown Livni had to fight an election because she needed the religious parties and they said not unless she rules out giving up Jerusalem which she refused to do preferring an election. Since she started talking to Abbas she has been agreeing to one concession after another and has asked for very little in return. The woman is an appeaser with visions of Nobel Prizes flashing in front of her eyes, if she can negotiae a deal there will probably be a Nobel Prize in it for her so she can go down in history. She is just another opportunist who has no ideology other than advancing her own career.
