1. anyone got a bucket to puke into?
david ,   new york   (10.29.13)
2. Their "custom" is against Jewish law and tradition
Chana ,   Jerusalem the Holy   (10.29.13)
No compromises and no deals. Give them no quarter in our holy sites. And protest peacefully outside their individual houses.
3. w.o.w. is a small group trying to bully the majority
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (10.29.13)
They can't even muster 100 women on a good day & they think they have the right to dictate to thousands of Jews who have been praying there every week for years how to pray? These women should be ignored. They have to accept the fact they can't have everything their way. When they bring thousands of women to protest for change, then there can be a dialogue with them
4. Next Story: Men declare, "NO compromise".
mea   (10.29.13)
5. This is what happens when you got bored,,,,,
Cynthia Givens ,   Bostn, Mass.   (10.29.13)
Euro-Ameri Crackers still trying to work this fantasy of being Jews in the "Holy Land". All the activities, events and stunts won't give these peoples "facts on the ground" as this being their ancestral homeland, just as the settlers they are always on the "Take", causing confusion, daily, every day coveting something. Sad,,,,, real sad. What will and do these white women pray for, we know what white American women pray for,,,, and it ain't world PEACE,, but a piece of "this" and "that", "vainity of vainities", was it Solomon, the whole world is vain,,,, 24 hours in a day and this is what these women waste their time on.
6. Why?
Moshe D. ,   NY NY   (10.29.13)
If they are liberals, why do they want to perform the most orthodox mitzvot?
7. This is the outermost wall, folks!
Israeli 2   (10.29.13)
This is NOT the Beit Hamikdash. Where is the Torah from Sinai? Where is the Aron Hakodesh? Where is the Kodesh Hakodashim? What are you fighting about? Has this wall turned into an unfinished synagogue without a roof and remaining walls?
8. 7-The w. wall is a synagogue
No need for ceiling   (10.29.13)
Nowhere it is written that synagogue needs a ceiling. And the western wall is exactly that - a synagogue.
9. Condition: Play music & dance Horah by the wall on weekends.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.29.13)
Time to bring all of the Israelis together. Playing music and Horah dancing can achieve it.
10. If you are correct #8.....then.....
Israeli 2   (10.29.13)
I fear that these women have entered a strictly orthodox synagogue and the rules of that synagogue must be obeyed.
11. #6: True, but if #8 is correct
Israeli 2   (10.29.13)
and the orthodox were there among the first, it turns out to be an orthodox place. But... if it does not give the orthodox exlusive right then build another wall inbetween somewhere leaving a section just for women.
12. Orthodox
Edouard ,   Montreal Canada   (10.30.13)
I am I favor of anything that can break the orthodox fascism Orthodox are a MINORITY and they act like if they have the right to control the All Jewish world Enough is enough let put them back where they belong to in a nice litel shtetel in Eastern Europe After few years of discrimination and insults they will appreciat israel the wAy they should
13. Where in Torah does it say to give Har haBayit to Muslims &
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   www.netzarim.co.il   (10.30.13)
build synagogue on western edge -- which ISN'T even the earliest part of the wall! (The earliest part of the wall is north of "The Seam" on the southern part of the EASTERN wall.) I'm not defending WOW here. Seems like everyone is running off the rails. Torah says the next edifice כִּי בֵיתִי בֵּית-תְּפִלָּה יִקָּרֵא לְכָל-הָעַמִּים (For My House shall be called a House of Prayer FOR ALL OF THE KINDREDS!)
14. #12 who do Torah Jews think they are to follow Torah
ahad haamoratsim   (10.30.13)
They've got some nerve, not letting everyone else redefine Torah for them, don't they? Sadly, Torah Jews have almost never been the majority in our nation. At Yetziat Mitzrayim, fully 80% died in the plague of darkness because they were so estranged from Torah. The remaining 20% included plenty of rebels who gave both Moshe Rabbeinu and G-d a rough time over the next 40 yrs. So this 'minority' trope is nothing new and means nothing.
