I agree with the first sentence of your tb, except that I have almost come to the conclusion that large parts of humanity, by blindly accepting and never questioning whatever dogmas they're being fed, will, sooner or later, literally kill and forever lose the use of some part of the brain. San Diego(?), but based on what you posted, I now find myself wondering whether or not it could/will be scientifically proven that the very fact that religion over-stimulates the brain results in the atrophy or actual death of the cells involved.
