1. What's to negotiate when Pals reject Jewish majority Israel?
Sam ,   Canada   (10.31.13)
Why give away Israeli positions and free concessions when Palestinians refuse to live next to a Jewish majority Israel? These talks for the sake of talks is US and EU silliness.
2. So the "Minister of Resignations" really resigned this time?
Scott ,   USA   (10.31.13)
3. Who will Livni play "Lewinsky" with now?
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (11.01.13)
4. no loss at all
CJK   (10.31.13)
5. The Usurpers vs Israel
Brod ,   USA   (11.01.13)
Islamist-Jihadist Usurpers want everything. They think they are king of the world and that they can demand what they want and expect to be given everything they want on a silver platter. Their goal is to subdue the whole world as commanded by their Luciferian god. They want to make Dhimmis out of EU and Hussien the Islamist to do their dirty work. Only fool would cow to the dark forces. The dark forces do not know what negotiation is all about. They are Islamist-Jihadist fanatics. They hate Israel because of their religion not because of territory. Those who do not know this, do not know Islamist Jihadism.
6. Middle East conflict
Harold ,   USA   (11.01.13)
If the peace process fails after the nine months frame, Palestinian State borders will be imposed and none of the parties can complain or reject.
7. #6 - Palestinian borders
Oleg ,   Canada   (11.01.13)
I wonder what those would be. I spoke to one Palestinian guy (work associate) and he considers Haifa and Tel Aviv to be Palestine. But seriously - those borders cannot be imposed - same as Western Sahara cannot get independence without Marocco agreeing or Nothern Kurils cannot go to Japan until Russia does not object.
8. Another one of those tactical "resignations", designed to
Hermon Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.01.13)
place pressure on the Americans and/or Israelis and extract more "goods". But, of course, should the resignation is accepted by the head of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, so be it. In fact, some would celebrate Ereqat's departure...!!
9. Erekat is laughing at Bibi
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (11.01.13)
He resigns 2 days after Israel released 26 terrorists. What a foolish Govt.
10. Why is it that
Alan Eigenstein ,   Edgewater, NJ USA   (11.01.13)
the always insists that Israel take "painful steps" for "peace" and no one can state a single act from the PA that is a "painful step" for peace. When will the US and EU take responsibility for the damage they've done in encouraging the PA to make greater and greater demands?
11. #9
(11.01.13)
Erekat never laughing, things are complicated than any one can imagine - we're dealing with God of Israel
12. Too bad
Samer   (11.01.13)
Abbas and his people are weak and corrupt. Abbas should have never entered into these sham "negotiations" with Israel and Netanyahu who clearly has no interest in peace. It's time for a young, tough-minded, hard-line Palestinian leader to come to power and lead the Palestinian people.
13. Erekat
(11.01.13)
doing a runner!
14. For Israel sakes
(11.01.13)
When do we start counting nine months time frame? God Himself needs to sign to give America and EU rest from Palestinians trouble. Luke 20:25 and he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
15. NO, please don't resign! We have to keep Livni away from us,
tom ,   tel aviv   (11.01.13)
busy with the 'Process".
16. Quit the antics..and get down to WORK
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (11.01.13)
The going is tough and will get tougher Nobody gets Brownie Points for leaks or opinions or the silly 'Spoilers' Wether it is the untimely Israeli Settlement Building Announcements on the one hand or the untimely PA UN Antics and Boycott Threats and continuing Institutional Incitement - those are childish and stupid diversions The serious business is cooperating to negotiate a Settlement AND build a healthy and normal and mutually beneficial relationship for the future
17. Erekat will never quit!
george rishmawi ,   Jerusalem   (11.01.13)
Negotiations can stop, fail, get cancelled etc... but Saeb will never quit! Even when he said he would he never did - What else would he do with his life?!
18. No way he resigns before the rest of the murderes released
Zev ,   Israel   (11.01.13)
19. #6 "Palestinian State borders will be imposed "
A ,   Belgium   (11.01.13)
And whos is going to impose them, you? Your incompetent president? The struggling EU? The worthless UN? The Easter bunny? Well, I'd say the last one has more of a chance than the others.
20. #7 Palestinian GUY or Wise GUY?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (11.01.13)
For Mr Palestinian Guy to sit in his comfortable office pining for Haifa and Tel Aviv whilst we have to negotiate in the real world for a solution - you wonder wether your Wise Guy lives on another Planet You cant expect the idea of the Creation of Palestine from the Destruction of Israel - its nonsensical...And as I say he should wake up and focus his actions to press and urge the talks forward not giving himself over to the comfort of daydreaming from Canada
21. #6 - and who would impose these "borders"
michael redbourn ,   Lisbon Portugal   (11.01.13)
You're welcome to your wet dreams but please keep them private. 9,000 Israelis were uprooted from Gaza and it was the biggest Army operation since the Yom Kippur war and it took 10 days. Approximately 500,000 Israelis live in the West Bank, so who would, should or could evacuate them?
22. Cannot trust what he Arabs say
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (11.01.13)
It occurs to me that if the Arabs send out false reports about each other, how can you believe what they report about the Israeli negotiators and what they have agreed to? THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
23. 6.
Birdi ,   Israel   (11.01.13)
You playing politics again, Harold? It's time for you to change the game to digging up your back yard to search for your lost brain.
24. #23 "What has never been had, can never be recovered"
A ,   Belgium   (11.01.13)
