The Iranians know how badly the U.S. want a deal. So it is very easy to play them. Feign pessimism about the talks and the U.S. will drop most if not all of their bargaining positions. Next week we will hear from both the Americans & the Iranians how well talks are progressing. This I will predict: a deal will be struck but it will be a shocking deal not only for the region but for the greater world at large. Obama does not care about his legacy. His main aim is to change the balance of power in the Middle-East and boy is he succeeding.
