They are realists.....Iran has been jerking Europe around for 10 years....come on; they want acceptance as nuke nation,
2. We must focus on peace. We need the world, not dictate to it
Rachel Rabin ,   TA, Israel   (11.09.13)
Peace NOW!
3. Better no deal than a bad deal
Mark Jeffery Koch ,   Cherry Hill, NJ USA   (11.09.13)
I agree with international efforts to try and prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. I do not think that the proper way to do this is to point a gun at the Iranians head and give them an ultimatum and demand their total surrender. The West (and Israel) can get what they want if they are strong but backing Iran into a corner will only ensure that the right wing extremists in Iran prevail which will mean the only solution is a military strike on Iran which will set them back a year or two who galvanize the Iranian people, who hate the mullahs, into supporting them. Israeli's worldwide will not be safe from terrrorist attacks from Iran and Hezbollah and the Israeli homefront will be at risk. Those who criticize Obama and have the mentality of bombing your opponents into submission will never have the security they need. If a deal can be reached that can prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons and help them save face then it is a win win situation for everyone. If the only goal is to bludgeon Iran into submission then everyone loses. Diplomacy must be tried and war must be a last resort. Too many posters on this site believe too much in Israel's bombing its enemies. War has its costs in lives lost, property destroyed, and will have a devastating effect on Israel, Iran and the entire Middle East.
4. THE MAIN PROBLEM
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS HOUSE   (11.09.13)
I am tending to believe that Israels' no .1 problem / issue is not in fact Iran .After all ,Iran can be dealt with by a few well placed bombs. Nor is Obama the main problem .He honestly is not that important ,a jumped -up nothing. Israelsmain liability is Netanyahu who displays poor judgement ( he trusts ,believes and places his faith in Obama ) and he is fearful and hesitant like a diaspora ghetto jew. I strongly hope I am wrong and mistaken .
5. Does anyone really believe in a peace deal??
Beary White ,   Norway   (11.09.13)
This has cost too much for Iran, and they will not just give it away. Thats why they will drag these discussions out for a long time, while their scientists are making the bomb.. Sorry folks, this has to end with some missions into Iran.
6. 2 Rachel
alsky ,   toronto   (11.09.13)
you are too logical. Surely by now you know that peace is not possible until Islam reforms and accepts Israel as the Homeland of the Jews Islam has bloody borders- not just with Israel !
7. The West is no match for these snakes.... they will move the
Sasha   (11.09.13)
shells until they get the power of nuclear bombs and then they will threaten and control the entire world.
8. Israel should try to be part of the solution, but...
Persian CAT   (11.09.13)
the way the Israeli officials have positioned themselves, they are only part of the problem. If they continue this path, Israel will sure be the biggest loser. France is not protecting Israel, it is mad because it has lost billions in Iran's auto industry due to the sanctions. France has found out GM is going to get its share of Iran's auto industry. France is not going to be able to stand in the way of reaching an agreement. So it is pretending it cares about Israel's "concerns". Those who know the French must be laughing at that thought.
9. #3 mark, #4 tel
solomon ,   bklyn   (11.09.13)
Your problem is you don't realize when you are being had. Look at Iran's words over the past years, their support of Hezbollah, Hamas, etc. You are obviously related to that great Prime Minister of Britain, Chamberlain. We all wish for what you wish for, but your wishes are fantasies.
10. There are no words to describe the duplicitous duo Hussein+K
Alan ,   SA   (11.09.13)
It is totally unbelievable how those two with their sidekicks in the EU want to destroy us!
11. Picture 1-Look at Kerry's patronising finger pointing

He is always at the centre of attention. The President wannabe but who never was.
12. Thank Heavens for this mercy
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (11.09.13)
Iran has no business with Nukes which it craves. Obama has been manipulated as a puppet in the hands of Samantha Powell, Valerie Jarett , Susan Rice, avowed anti-Semites There those in the Administration, on record, advocating destruction of Israel. Crazy to send the ME on a path to a nuclear future. Thank Heavens for France. Obama and Cameron do NOT have our back
13. #3 mark How Many Times Does One Have

To hit their Keppy up against wall to figure out the wall ALWAYS WINS? To pound sand for the remainder of him Incompetent two terms in office! Then tell abu mazen he Will Never Give Land Given to Jacob (Israel) to a Fake People!!!
14. Get it right guys, or the F-16's will be flying
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (11.09.13)
15. Mark 3
alsky ,   Toronto   (11.09.13)
although your post makes perfect sense, you havent addressed the issue of Taqiyyah. Iraninas can never be trusted especially in matters such as this. This is why sanctions must be stepped up and the threat of a military strike must remain on the table
16. Pathetic
smotyy ,   Grant, NM   (11.09.13)
Think about the state of our world when it is the French not the US standing for Israel against evi. Bless the Frenchl
17. I hate to say this but: I TOLD YOU SO!

Stupid Yanks and Eurotrash.
18. #3 BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS HOUSE   (11.09.13)
Israel is between a rock and a hard place. I agree with you that a peaceful solution to Iranian nuclear threat is preferable . A solution where Iran can forget about posessing nuclear weapons and can also save face would be wonderful. However ,I am realistic andc doubt this is possible. Sadly ,Israel must be prepared to use force if all other options fail. Personally ,I would love to live happily and peacefully with iranians ,I have no quarrel with them .
19. Gulf Arabs just as concerned as Israel
Laila ,   Montreal, Canada   (11.09.13)
Gulf Arabs just as concerned as Israel.
20. Iran's attitude toward Israel
observer ,   usa   (11.09.13)
Iran accuses France of "defending Israel", as if that's some sort of transgression. In fact, the facts in this case (and many other situations) align with Israel's position. Since when is acknowledging reality something to be accused of?
21. "It's now or never" should be changed to...
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.09.13)
...: "Bomb the hell out of Iran now and forever so that not one single microscopical biological organism will survive a nuclear fire in Iran." Israel and Bibi shouldn't waste any time. Let the EU and USA "negotiate" about the prospect of renewing "negotiations" about starting new and additional "negotiations" about treating the Iranians to tea and biscuits and having another intimate and steamy phone conversation between between Rohani and Obama. After all - they are fellow Moslems. In the meantime, Israel should simply take the matters into its own hands, and Dresden bomb every square inch of Iran until there is not a single breathing soul in Iran. Because that's how you speak to Moslems - relentless brutal, naked force showing no mercy and no pardon. Cruel - but true. If you study the satanic cartoon book called Koran, you would understand the essence of Moslem mentality and theology. Moslems understand force and violence and mock negotiations. That's why Iran pursues nuclear weapons since the West negotiates and uses no force. Speaking of the "global economic meltdown" theory in case Iran is attacked - I don't buy that. The world economy/world GDP is roughly 70 trillion US Dollars and the Iranian economy/GDP is roughly 0.5 trillion (500 billion) US Dollars, so that means the Iranian economy stands for 0.7% of the world economy. There will be no "global economic meltdown". But there is a global meltdown in the minds of many Westerners and "intellectuals" whose brains are overheated with Jew hatred.
22. @ Rachel Rabin
Anshel ,   Canada   (11.09.13)
Peace now, peace for all times are the words said by Neville Chamberlain in 1938 when he signed in haste the infamous Munich accord and we all know the dire consequences and the murder of 6 million Jews and tens of millions civilians and soldiers on all sides. Furthermore, when will Peace Now realize that it is an oxy moron to demand peace now with and from the enemy openly professing that the Zionist entity (meaning Israel) should be wiped out of the map of the world? Blindness can be very self destructive. The Persians have infamous history when they felt militarily strong and it appears that their dreams could be realizes if the Western power would put blinds over their eyes.
23. IT IS GOOD TO TRUST
CONFUCIUS ,   SAFED CHINA   (11.09.13)
But better NOT to trust .And I do not trust Iran and others.
24. Maybe France learned from its part in the Munich accords?
Steve   (11.09.13)
25. #2 Rachel Rabin
Madeleine ,   Israel   (11.09.13)
Rubbish!!! Stupid comment! The west is rushing to hug and kiss Iran because they can't wait to renew their lucrative businesses with that country. You think it would be good for Israel, an agreement whereby the west doesn't rally care whether Iran stops its race for nuclear weapons? peace at any price, "Victims" of peace - seems we've heard those words in the past from some of our leaders.
26. Boot out Iran's Criminal Regime !
Benny ,   IRAN   (11.09.13)
Don't talk to these "Mullah" snakes who have stolen the Iranian coffers .With their oil money, they push & support terror around the globe. These are very sick people. Kick them hard & out so they never recover and let the Iranian people & the world live in peace again. They are the world's sickest puppies!
27. IRAN MUST BE HIT HARD
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS HOUSE   (11.09.13)
There is no other solution .Its nuclear instalations will have to be removed by force. Negotiations are a bloody waste of time.
28. #9 GO TELL IT TO BIBI
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS HOUSE   (11.09.13)
If I were Prime Minister of Israel ,Irans' nuclear factories would have been destroyed years ago. And I could care less about any foreign criticisms .
29.  NEGOTIATIONS
CAPTAIN OBVIOUS ,   SAFED OBVIOUS HOUSE   (11.09.13)
Iran should be offered the opportunity to dismantle its nuclear weapons manufacturing while being allowed to save face and to do so in a dignified manner i.e. without its being humiliated. However ,if Iran remains committed to the destruction of Israel ,this can not end well . I hope this can be resolved peacefully although I am skeptical . If only for the chance for Iran to back down while saving face ,the negotiations are necessary.
30. #19 Laila
Madeleine ,   Israel   (11.09.13)
Which is why we are 'secretly' talking to them and the Saudis. They understand the problems better than the west, who only care about their lucrative deals. here in the Middle East it's our lives on the line.
