Did you know that the myth of Deir Yassin is precisely that -- a myth? The "brave" villagers of Deir Yassin used to fire upon convoys attempting to relieve the siege of Jerusalem. Then, those despicable creatures would run down to the roadside and scavenge the Jewish corpses. That's why Deir Yassin had to be neutralized. But the death toll was much lower than claimed -- Arabs exaggerate everything (remember Jenin? The initial claims of 1,500 dead civilians gave way to 1,000 and then gave way to 700 and then gave way to 250 and ended up being 12 dead terrorists). But rule of war prevails. The Arabs attacked Israel on six occasions. They lost each time. Cry me a river. The moral of the story is don't go to war.
