nothing new . Friedman has been anti Israel since the day he crossed the border from Lebanon into Israel with his golf clubs long ago. A real jerk.

If Obama wants to keep things quiet so that the US economy does not implode due it not being able to withstand a middle east conflict, he has to stand with his allies and not abandon them. It doesn't take a genius to imagine that with the current US policy, at this point the Saudis, the gulf arabs and Israel have started talking. For all anybody knows Israeli planes could fly into Iran from the Arabian peninsula right over the gulf. That would cause a big war, and it will shoot oil prices through the roof, and it will topple the appeasement plan of Obama.

Can we help extricate The Iranian People from the grip, in which the primitive mindsets of the Ayattollah(s) and intolerant, backward, StoneAge-thinking, fanatical supporters continue to hold them? Let's redouble our efforts to accomplish just that!
34. Jewish American Liberalism
Israeli Texan   (11.13.13)
Friedman is a prime example of the anti-zionist liberal Jewish American. Jews around the world are very supportive of Israel since they witness daily anti-semitism in their lives. However, this is not the case with many of the post-holocaust Jewish American generations who do not know or understand anti-semitism and the importance of a Jewish state.
35. ISRAEL'S CONCERNS R AS VALID AS ANYS'
