Permit me to explain. Rape is a crime and statutory rape is a crime of equal proportion and punishable without leniency or mitigation. The word statutory means only one thing, it is rape and it is covered by statute law just as is forced and violent rape. What were you trying to say, that consent on the part of a minor is reason for mitigation. Personally I think he should be charged with statutory rape, possession of drugs, inducing minors to have sex, inducing minors to take drugs and procuration of minors for sexual exploitation and given a maximum sentence on all counts.

The girl's ethnicity is irrelevant. She's a minor, and her identity needs to be protected. The only important thing you -- or anyone else -- needs to know about this girl is that she is under the age of sixteen. If it were your daughter, would you care much about the ethnicity of her assailant? And if he were of the same ethnicity as your daughter .... would that make it alright? Would it say absolutely anything about your daughter? I'm guessing you're Ashkenazi.
