The REALITY is the US senate can do nothing but blow hot air. The US stopped all direct trade with Iran and froze all Iranian assets in the US in1979, so the US has no more direct actions they can do. As for third-party actions, the third parties will either simply ignore the US or even worse for the US, actively retaliate against US business and diplomatic interests. China, India, Japan, Europe and the rest of the world will react very negatively toward the US. The US has reached the limits of its power.

It's about time. Sanctions are the exclusive province of the United States Congress to impose -- or relieve. The executive branch has no authority to impose sanctions or to alleviate them. The chief executive can only ASK the Congress to impose or withdraw them. But this is not the first time that Obama has run roughshod over the United States Constitution. The arrogance of the man knows no bounds. Time for the Congress and the United States Supreme Court to reel in the egomaniacal idiot that has brought the United States to the brink of disaster. I guess someone who needed five shots at the bar exam -- and passed by ONE point on the sixth attempt -- just does not understand how the United States Constitution works. Obama may think he is above the law, but he is not. What a narcissistic fool!
