The reality is nothing Canada does has any meaning in the real world. Canada's direct sanctions on Iran just punish Canadian companies that need all the real world trade they can get. And if Canada tries to enforce third-party sanctions, Canada and Canadian companies will get severely punished by the rest of the world. In other words just a bunch of hot air.
