1. Jimmy Carter: "If I had a son,
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (11.26.13)
he'd look like Barak Hussein Obama."
2. "Humiliate the American government?
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (11.26.13)
Nonsense! We don't need IRAN to "humiliate" us - our current administration is doing just fine, thank you.
3. #1. Jimmy Carter: "If I had a son,
(11.26.13)
He would not look like Obama. More like his grandfather Frank Williams
4. I've never had a Chicago president whom I could trust
(11.26.13)
5. What has "trust" got to do with it?!
Persian CAT   (11.26.13)
There's no such thing as "trust' in realpolitik. Does ANYONE trust Israel?! I don't think so. But we have to negotiate, sign and agreement, then watch each other like a hawk to make sure it's implemented. That IS realpolitik. So who cares if some retired military hack trusts the Iranians or not.
6. And as someone who has lived and studied...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (11.26.13)
...in the Middle East for many years, I would NEVER trust America and its visions for the region. As the movie "Argo" accurately showed: When the demonstrators stormed the US Embassy in Tehran, the staff (except for six persons) didn't try to save themselves. They tried to shred as many documents as possible. Wonder why.....NOT
7. #4 He's NOT From Chi Town

He's Not Even American!!!
8. Well, let's lean back

9. Air-drop 0.50 cal machine guns to Iranian citizens
DemocracyRules ,   Canada   (11.27.13)
The M2 is cheap, numerous, easy to operate, and battle-proven. They can be dropped with ammo and kits to mount them on pickup trucks. This is cheaper than invading Iran, and success is proportional to the number of air-drops.
10. Carter did nothing to help hostages, emboldened Mullahs
William ,   Israel   (11.28.13)
Carter had belief in the Mullahs because they were religious men like him. He didn't see the Iranians wanted democracy not a theocratic govt but then again, this is a guy who brands anyone with opposition to Obama's policies a "racist". Carter left those hostages out there to hang, and did little to use American might to pound the Iranians, which opened the door for decades of proxy terror support against the West and constant "Death to America" chants and actions. Obama, the 2nd coming of Carter, just closed the circle and once again bolstered the Mullahs at the expense of the West, the US, and Iranians themselves.
11. #6 - Dummy, it was an embassy...
William ,   Israel   (11.28.13)
ALL embassies have sensitive documentation and ALL diplomats do the same thing when their embassy is attacked or over-run, regardless of which country's embassy it is. As someone who studied in the Middle East, you should already know the duplicitous nature of Arabs, the tacit open door they keep for themselves in breaking agreements, the inherent racism and gender discrimination that even the Al-Quds Al-Arabi Editor in Chief cited in 2008, and conspiracy theorists who claim the West at fault for even their burnt toast in the morning. or perhaps, you just drank their kool-aid enough that it resonated with your own dislike of the US.
