2. American Jews....

Ah the bliss of feeling so secure. Oh wait, not so secure...uhm...moderately? guess again...sadly, being a man on the street and jew at home is working as well as 1930 germany.
3. Not interested
Israel ,   Israel   (11.27.13)
I had a nice life in the US but still made aliyah over 20 years ago. I have nothing against Thanksgiving, but somehow am not interested. The message of Chanuka is not to assimilate. Plus, probably more American Jews celebrate Thanksgiving than many of the Jewish holidays, like Shavuot, Succot, etc.
4. "Secure" American Jews
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (11.27.13)
Yes, Rachel: most American Jews are only too happy to fill their lives with fluff like turkey-shaped menorahs [making the manufacturers of these idiotic trinkets very wealthy] and convincing themselves that these toys are their security blankets.
5. ThanksHanuka
