Don't put words in our mouths. In English "marriage" has strict meaning, an church, temple, sinagogue, or otherwise religious ritual. This constitutes an attach on norms and morals of Jewish faith and community. And we will fight you in this real. As far as rights and weddings go... I don't think we have anything to fight over. I'm an orthodox Jew and I believe that all are entitled to live the way they want. Please remember that there are many gay religious Jews who live a gay life style and also keep the Torah, yes it can be done. Its a big shame that many Jews lack tolerance and say nasty things about Jews who live a gay life style. I am proud of Shimon Peres and they way he thinks, not many older people have such a modern outlook of life. I am proud to be a Jew and an Israeli and live in a country that is moving forward in its way of thinking.

Yet even in Britain when Cameron pushed for same-sex marriage, H M The Queen delivered two Queen's Speeches opening Parliamentary sessions and left out any mention of same-sex marriage proposals. There were several reasons for the Queen not to mention the controversial law, one of which was that it contradicts the Church of England, which is the established religion. For Peres to openly attack the established Jewish faith of Israel and call for same sex marriage is 100% inapprpriate.

Those men who are naturally attracted to their sisters should have rights to marry and start family. Those attracted to their pet dogs in Tel aviv or their sheep on a secular Israeli kibbutz should ne allowed to marry them. And those teens under 18 have sexual feelings with an adult should be allowed to live together. Here just last month the Israeli government wants to make it illegal for anyone under 18 to marry but two men marrying is normal. It is no accident that Iran is racing towards the bomb. In fact next month I'm bringing my daughter and her family back from israel due to very possible serious and dangerous situation confronting israel as the government becomes more rebellious against G-d.

In many developed western countries same sex marriage is ALLOWED . Never heard about a human who wants to marry his dog or sheep in those 21st century countries . Are the leaders of those countries senile ? You can marry with whom you want , others want to marry someone of their gender .
