However, the police are squandering that opportunity if they do not get their acts together and arrest the individual named. note to the family--I do not think the police are moving slower in your case because you are not Jewish. I do think they are moving slower because you weren't injured. The only time rock throwing incidents make the press is when something makes them stand out. A child injured stands out, an Arab family mistaken, stands out. BUt, for the police to actually do something--I think the people of Israel frequently suffer equally.

When it was discovered he was an Israeli Arab, an apology was conveyed from the PA effectively apologizing that the attacker thought he was a Jew.

Amazing, all the Palestinians do is complain how it is the Israelis who constantly attack and harass them.Then, when their own ignorant pos's attack them, because thry are just looking to hurt someone, an dit really doesn't mastter who or why. As a Jerusalemite who see Arabs often I can tell you that most of them have darker skin compared to Jews. In addition, the Arabs who look like Jews resemble Mizrahi Jews - who came from Arab countries to Israel and themselves are not exactly white skinned. Ashkenazi Jews (the majority of Jews in the world and the founders of Zionism and Israel) don't look like Arabs or Mizrahi Jews since they have a much lighter skin. There are many Arabs that strol in west Jerusalem who dress like Jews and resemble Mizrahi Jews, but not Ashkenazi Jews.
