1. but never mention the Nakba to us! that would be offensive.
avramele   (12.02.13)
my dear pope francis, Please come to Israel and I will make you even more guilty about the history of the church and the Jews. The gift of my father's writings is but a taste of the in your face lectures to come. N'sieah tovah! sincerely, your pal bibi
2. State Visit?
Marcel ,   San Jose, Costa Rica   (12.02.13)
When a head of government (in this case, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu) visits another head of government (Il presidente del consiglio dei ministri - Enrico Letta), this does not constitute a state visit. A state visit is between Heads of State.
3. Why didn't Bibi ask him to return the Golden Menorrah from..
Mario ,   Israel   (12.02.13)
the Temple? And the other things Rome stole from the Jews? Would have been a very nice friendship present from His Excellency to the Jewish people. What the heck is Bibi going to do with a plaque of St. Paul???
4. DID THEY DISCUSS SAME SEX
MR CYNIC ,   SAFED CYNIC HOUSE   (12.02.13)
Did the Pope and Netanyahu talk about same-sex marriage ,as proposed by Peres ?
5. Here's a good one: What's the difference...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (12.02.13)
...between the pope and all the world's political leaders?? Answer: The pope is the ony one who, when Netanyahu starts his old mantra of " a dangerous Iran bla bla bla...", is thinking " (Sigh) Oh Lord, have mercy (SIGH)"......AND ACTUALLY WISHES FOR THE LORD TO HAVE MERCY......

7. A New Holocaust?
Danny ,   London England   (12.02.13)
If Iran gets its atomic bomb we may need a new round of Holocaust museums! And the Knesset works to sabotage the Jewish character of Israel by criminalizing the B'nai Torah and proposing laws to permit men to marry other men. Let us turn back to our Father Who art in Heaven [Avinu she'ba'Shomayim]
8. Etiquette and modesty
Akiva ,   NYC   (12.02.13)
It's been for generations the custom that women visiting the Pope dress modestly and in black. Catholic women also cover their hair in the Pope's presence. I don't see any Women of the Wall 'liberating' the Vatican by dressing inappropriately.
9. 5.
Birdi ,   Israel   (12.02.13)
A comedian you will never be.
10. Why is the Pope wearing a yamulka but Bibi is not???
