Israeli Haredim with you back there. They are about as useful as teats on a bulls ass. I am sure you will enjoy them. The best thing that can happen would be that Israel was to dump a 100,000 of these useless moochers. Yes that's how useless they truly are. They wont be missed.

Israel cannot afford to dump them. It must integrate them, and cannot afford for them to keep up their lifestyle, but it can't dump them. Their large families are crucial to ensure the Arabs don't become a majority. Also, there is a momentum in the Haredi community to find work. Many already work, and a Haredi middle class is emerging. It will take some time, but the Haredim aren't going to be this way forever.

While it is true that, at the beginning of the Oslo process, Ovadia Yosef stated that it is legitimate and permissible to give territory from the Land of Israel in order to achieve a genuine peace, later on when the Oslo Accords were followed by the 2nd Intifada, this opinion was retracted. Rav Ovadia Yosef never again reversed himself on this matter.

I think that his wife had a Reform conversion which makes his children not halachically Jewish. So what do all these chareidi rabbis have to say about that?

they must work, otherwise Israel will turn to a welfare country. they don't realize it but because of their need to relay on goverment payments the gov raise the taxes, people will pay less taxes if they will go to work.
